About this property
Stunning Waterfront Lodge
Osprey (and Heron, next door) are our two detached Luxury Waterfront Lodges, each sleeping up to 6 guests, full of stylish design touches and cosy comfort. All our accommodation is individually furnished with handpicked colours, bits and bobs handmade out of wood by my husband Chris, and unique lamps, rugs, cushions, artworks and photography that I've chosen to suit each place.
Osprey lodge's vast floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors bring the beautiful outside in, flooding the lounge and master bedroom with wide views of the lake and mountains. It’s hard to imagine a better view from any self-catering accommodation in Scotland.
The three-bedroom two-storey 0pen-plan, lodge is full of individual features - oversized light bulbs hang from antlers above Chris's handmade beech dining table, birch branches form clothes rails in the bedrooms, a welly boot jack made by my pa, Jimmy, from the old floorboards sits at the entrance.
Both Luxury A-Frame Lodges have a patio area surrounded by heather beds on the grassy bank between lodge and lake, with a picnic table and chairs, bird feeders and nesting boxes all around the estate. and armies of friendly ducks countering happily at the waters edge. We supply duck food if you want to make friends with them.
You'll find a Nespresso machine and all mod cons in the kitchen, and a rejuvenating steam-room shower and free-standing bath tub in the downstairs bathroom.
