Finca Calvari is a traditional rustic style Mallorcan house with a private pool that offers a very convenient location just 10 minutes walk to old town Pollenca and 10 minutes drive to the beach resort of Port de Pollenca. The house sleeps 6 guests and is situated in a peaceful area with beautiful mountain views towards the valley of Ternelles. Distributed over two levels, the interiors include traditional features, wooden beam ceilings, exposed stone walls and even most of the original stone flooring can be seen on the ground floor. There are 3 bedrooms (1 x double/2 x twins) and 2 shared bathrooms on the upper floor. Downstairs, the kitchen has a breakfast table and is fully equipped (vitroceramic hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave). There are two living areas, a lounge with comfortable sofas, a wood-burner fireplace, satellite TV, DVD, and a second lounge with a seating area, ideal for reading. The outside space includes a covered terrace, dining table and a built-in barbecue area as well as a handy shower room/toilet. A paved sun terrace with potted plants, loungers surrounds a private triangular private pool with views of the mountains. Finca Calvari is ideal for families/friends looking for a relaxing holiday in an authentic Mallorcan house whilst being close to shops, restaurants and attractions!

Lovely property, furnishing is a little dated in places, beware the mosquitos!

A really nice location on the edge of Pollenca, ideal for a family break. The location is good and the villa is quirky but functional and the outside kitchen with grill and wood fired oven is excellent. The furnishing is a little dated in places and basics that you would typically expect to be included, such as toilet roll and kitchen cleaner were not supplied. The only real negative was the prevalence of mosquito due to the location next to the river and a heavily overgrown area. Lots and lots of repellent is required.
