This 2400 square foot custom log home is less than 5 minutes from Liberty Mtn Resort and 10 minutes from Gettysburg. The full log home with all wood interiors features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, gorgeous cathedral great room, dining room, loft, laundry room, mudroom, and 2 car garage. The home sleeps 12 comfortably with 3 bedrooms, a pull out queen sized sofa in the great room, and a queen sized futon in the loft. The home has a beautiful wrap around deck and covered porch with outdoor seating and grill. The master suite features an en suite bathroom with an amazing, large stone walk-in shower room with body jets, rain shower, and hand held sprayer. The property has mountain views out the front and back. Custom touches like whiskey barrel sinks, full log beds, and rustic-themed lighting make this property truly unique. Xfinity cable and free wifi included.

This is a beautifully custom crafted full log home - with a rustic feeling, but all of the modern comforts and amenities you would expect. You are less than a 5 minute drive to Liberty mountain as well as multiple golf courses. If you are visiting Gettysburg, you are a 10 minute drive to popular battlefield and downtown locations.

Clean, beautiful stay

Beautiful property with thoughtful touches throughout the house. Very well stocked kitchen and SUPER clean. Loved being able to park in the garage. Would recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Wonderful Cabin!

We rented this cabin for our Christmas ski vacation. Only 3 miles from Liberty Mountain and 15-20 mins from Gettysburg. Cabin was decorated in comfortable, rustic style. Owner was easy to contact and very helpful. Would definitely rent again!

Gettysburg Family Trip

We found the cabin to be clean and beautiful. The neighborhood seemed to be a good area and quiet. We were surprised to find the house was surrounded closely by other homes, it wasn’t a problem but I felt from the initial review it would be outside of town….

Mountain Getaway

We had a great time staying at this property. We did find a few broken pieces of furniture upon our arrival, but Michelle responded quickly when I reported them. We loved watching the cows across the street and had a ton of fun playing in the snow outside. My son loved the Alexa. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Proximity to Ski Liberty was perfect.

We used this Home as a "staging" area while our family visited Gettysburg for several days. We slept here, prepared and enjoyed breakfast, and planned each day's activities. The facility nicely met our needs.

The log house was awesome. It definitely made the trip better as the kids played in the yard every evening after a long day at Gettysburg. It was stocked with everything and in abundance. Would stay there again.

Everything was almost perfect. There was a light in the primary bedroom that didn’t work and a towel rack in the bathroom that was falling down. Other than those minor things the location and the house were perfect for a family celebration. It might be a good idea to warn people that access is by driving down the alley and around back.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is very spacious. We played games and enjoyed the fireplace and the views. After picking up some groceries, we spent all of our time at the cabin. It was relaxing and a special time with family.

Great location Restaurants bars and breakfast places are really good. Easy to get to for whatever you’d like to see we’re doing the area. The owners are fabulous to deal with.

Themed to perfection!

We (My husband, 4 kids ages 3mo to 6 years, my parents and me) were looking for a place to stay close to Liberty Mountain Ski Resort. This was PERFECT. We loved being able to stay in the house all together over having multiple hotel rooms, and the proximity to the mountain was perfect - we easily went back and forth to the ski slopes during the day. We also had a great time exploring Gettysburg a short drive away (highly recommend the audio driving tour of the battlefield in the wintertime). The layout was also great for our group. The first floor main bedroom gave the grandparents some separation from us and the kids who stayed upstairs, and the large rooms and windows made it feel so spacious. Obviously one of the first things you notice about the listing is the log cabin exterior and the themed decor. The kids called it the Lincoln Log house all weekend and loved all the cabin touches. If its there, it’s got a bear… or a moose or deer or fish haha. But, while it is easy to go overboard with themed accents, they’ve stopped right in the sweet spot - themed but not cluttered. Michelle was great and super communicative when we had any questions!
