Céret Cottage With A/C in 2000m² Garden, Heated Pool & Fast Internet in Ceret

Charming 1-bed cottage + sofa bed just a short walk into Céret set in 2000m² of lush tropical gardens.

Enjoy a full-size heated 26C pool (shared with hosts), private terrace, loungers & parasols.

Inside: double/twin bedroom with ensuite, reception room with sofa bed, open-plan kitchen, A/C/heating, and 23 Mb WiFi.

Free street parking & bike storage included.

Pool: The heated pool is shared with the hosts. In 2025, we installed an eco-friendly heat pump to keep the pool at 26°C from 1 June to 1 October.

Note: if there is a cold snap, then we might not be able to keep it at 26 degrees since it's an outdoor pool (this sometimes happens in September, but we will try!).

Internet: In 2024, we added Starlink satellite WiFi across the property. Enjoy fast, reliable internet (min. 23 Mbps) for working, streaming or video calls. For the best signal, keep the kitchen shutters open.

Energy: Solar panels now supply at least 30% renewable energy year-round.

Accommodation

Best suited for 2 adults in the main bedroom + 1 adult or 1 child on the sofa bed.

For families: a brand-new cot and high chair are available. The pool has child-safety barriers, plus inflatables and water toys to enjoy.

Fully upgraded cottage: new beds, sofas, Smart TV (Netflix, Amazon, YouTube - no terrestrial TV though), and stylish Maisons du Monde furniture. Roof is brand new.

3 A/C units also provide air conditioning or heating for year-round comfort.

Complimentary tea, coffee (cafetiere + Nespresso with starter biodegradable capsules), Brita water filter (though water is completely drinkable), salt & pepper provided.

Linens and towels are included (please bring beach towels).

Includes washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, clothes washing detergent, toilet roll and kitchen roll.

On arrival, a chilled bottle of wine and milk will be waiting in the fridge (let us know if you’d prefer no wine).

Please feel free to grab lermon verbena, mint or basil from our garden.

With its own private entrance for guests, there is also free on-street parking.

You have your own front door just for you (with garden door key accessed via a Key Safe on the street), which leads to a path into our garden and onwards to the Cottage where there is a second key safe to access the Cottage.

You can wander the garden and pool of course. You also have a private patio area in front of the garden.

There is secure storage available for bicycles with a charging point for electric bicycles.

Other things to note

If you would like an ash tray for smoking outside, just ask for one and we'll bring it to you.

We ask that you stop entertaining outside on your patio by 10pm.

Note: The property is not step-free and there may be issues for those that have mobility issues on account that the garden entrance has stairs leading to the main garden.
