The penthouse lateral apartment is on the top floor of a small modern building offering stunning panoramic views over the Bay from two balconies and an open space living/dining. Town's features are long and light days, unlike many other places in the bay that are in shade many hours due to nearby mountains as well as a 7km long promenade along the sea. There are several fortresses in the town offering various events under the skylight (music, theater etc) and worth visiting and exploring their rich history.

The flat is a modern and large (57 mq) and offers a cosy and comfortable stay. It contains the spacious open dining/lounge, a large bedroom with a king-size bed and spacious wardrobe as well as the door to one of the balconies. A fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons. The apartment benefits from two air-con units, an electric awning, two balconies, each with a table and two chairs, perfect for an evening star gazing or the morning coffee! There are two TVs, washer/dryer, the large shower and we offer a free parking place. The apartment is less than 10 minutes walk from the sea promenade and many beaches.

In addition to long strolls along the promenade and swimming there are nearby places of interest:
Kanli Kula (fortress often with events), old town, Savina Monastery, St Tryphon's Cathedral, two small islands in the Bay, Lustica Bay and Mamula island, Savina winery, to name a few. There is hiking opportunity nearby as well as many boats trips. A day trip To Njegusi mausoleum or nearby Dubrovnik in Croatia, Kotor city or small village Perast are only some nearby attractions.

I am Dada and a psychologist by profession. I am also a mother and love travelling, socialising, art, music and people.

I was born in this beautiful place and, although I did not grow up there, I visited it throughout my early years regularly to see my grandparents and have lots of loving memories and stories lived and told from those times.

I now visit with my son and partner and friends and love it more and more. I own this flat and a house just outside the town (Ratisevina village). We love going there and enjoy meeting the friendly people, we love the climate and food and many places to explore.

Why they chose this property

This apartment caught up our attention some years ago due to its stunning views over the bay and sea. The beautiful blue sky and sea views give the instant feeling of relaxation. It is a quiet place and. yet very close to the promenade 'Pet Danica'. This wonderful promenade along the sea shore is 6 kilometres wide and connects Igalo and Meljine. It is constructed on a spot where the railway tracks used to be, and got its present name after five women heroes, who died in the Second World War. They were all called Danica.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is spacious with stunning views and two balconies and has all mod cons including cable internet and a desk/office chair for working. It is close to a number of amenities and the seaside. It offers the opportunity to enjoy local life and beaches in summer but also to take up sailing or other sports, visit the local winery or explore further afield along the beautiful bay, the peninsula Lustica or the nearby mountain Orjen. It offers also a private parking place and if you are an explorer you can visit so many places in the small but beautiful country of Montenegro.
