First of all, the place clean, spacious and modern. The location was excellent and close to all the best parts of Madrid. Check-in went very smoothly and the instructions were very clear, and the app to unlock the doors worked well. Also, communications were promptly responded to, giving us peace of mind. The slight but noticeable inconveniences detracted from our stay. Though there isn’t a clothes dryer, a drying rack would be nice. There was nowhere to dry clothes and we had to hang them throughout the apartment. The back bedroom with the en-suite bathroom does not get WiFi reception. And the cellular data was very spotty. We had to be closer to the front of the apartment to use any internet reliably. While The en-suite bathroom was clean and modern, the shower kept on flooding and required us to put towels down (which we had to wash and had nowhere to dry them). We requested that maintenance come and unclog the shower but they never showed. On top of this, we quickly ran out of hot water when doing back to back showers (which we had to do quickly due to the flooding). The place is almost ideal. These are easily correctable and would earn a perfect rating if addressed.
