About this property
Modern Home with Stunning Gannel Estuary Views
Summary:
This stunning property is brand new to the holiday market having been recently built. Not only can you expect the very highest quality of fixtures and fittings throughout, the house is also blessed with uninterrupted views of the beautiful Gannel Estuary and the sparkling waters of Crantock Beach.
The Space:
With multiple terraces split over varying floors, you really are spoilt for choice when it comes to enjoying the views. Nothing beats watching the sunset with a chilled glass of your favourite tipple in hand!
The house offers plenty of space for all to spread out and relax, and will serve as the perfect base for unforgettable family holidays. On the ground floor, discover a cosy snug with a 4K Smart TV and a double sofa bed, as well as a handy utility room, two double bedrooms and a family bathroom. Up on the first floor, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living space boasts floor to ceiling double doors that open out onto the balcony and flood the room with light. The sleek, modern kitchen has been kitted out with state of the art appliances: from a boiling water tap to a built-in oven and microwave, six-ring induction hob and Nespresso coffee machine. After long days out on the coast, rest weary limbs on the two comfortable sofas and enjoy a film on the large smart TV as the sea glimmers in the distance. It really is total bliss.
On the top floor, there are two additional bedrooms with ample homely touches and gorgeous views out over the Cornish countryside. Beds are made up with high-quality linens and sumptuous quilts to ensure maximum comfort, whilst plenty of storage space means you can unpack and make yourself at home. These bedrooms each have their own luxury en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, walk-in waterfall showers and freestanding bathtubs. There are very few places that rival Woodlands; its wonderful views and superb finish will make sure you have a coastal holiday to remember! Gated parking provided for 1 vehicle and on road parking can usually be found close by for additional vehicles.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole property.
The Neighborhood:
Woodlands is located in an incredible spot nestled beside the Gannel Estuary, with wonderful views of the glimmering water and distant North Cornish coastline. Despite its quiet and serene location, you are within a few minutes walk of Newquay's renowned beaches and local amenities. Fistral Beach is within five minutes walk, boasting fantastic surfing conditions, a surf school and numerous shops and restaurants. Try Rick Stein's fish and chips and The Stable's pizza, washed down with a pint of local Korev from Fistral Beach Bar. Over on the Pentire Headland is Lewinnick Lodge, a highly regarded hotel and restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood overlooking the water. They also serve cream teas and lunch throughout the day!
Great Western Beach, Newquay Beach and Porth Beach are all easily accessible from the house - around 30 minutes walk or under 10 minute drive. Slightly further afield, you will find Watergate Bay and Crantock beaches, which are well worth a visit. Walkers are perfectly placed to enjoy the very best of the South West Coastal Path, and you can set off on long walks in either direction straight from the door. Please see our Guest Guide for recommended walking routes.
Newquay town centre is easily walkable from the house and you will discover lots of great shops and restaurants. Head to Box & Barber for delicious brunch options and good coffee, Pavilion for tasty baked treats as well as Lost Brewing. Co for cocktails and craft beers! There is so much to offer in this bustling town.
Getting Around:
Due to the nature of Cornwall, we would recommend bringing a car to make the most of your stay. There is private parking space for strictly 1 car only on the gated driveway. Newquay Train Station is a five minute drive, whilst Newquay Airport is 15 minutes with regular direct flights to London and the North
Other Things to Note:
1 well behaved dog is welcome with a fee of £20. It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms and that they are not left unattended at any time.
Interaction with Guests:
We will be available via message, email and phone during your stay. Any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
