About this property
Crowsnest - Overlooking Trebarwith Strand
Rental basis: Entire house or apartment
Number of bedrooms: 2; Number of other rooms with beds: 0
Number of bathrooms: 1
Crowsnest is a compact cottage apartment which sleeps 4 so can accommodate either couples or a family with older children (but not suitable for young children under the the age of 8 due to steep stairs and balcony).
It has stunning views of Port Isaac Bay and Trebarwith Strand. The beach is within a mile.
Weekly (7 nights) bookings (Saturday to Saturday).
Crowsnest has 2 comfortable bedrooms (1 with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds), a bathroom with shower over the bath and a compact fully-fitted kitchen.
The lounge/diner leads to a small conservatory on the balcony where you can relax inside or out (depending on the weather) to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the North Cornish coastline and fabulous sunsets over the bay.
Some comments from our guests:
"we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Crowsnest during July. It has spectacular views from the balcony and it was wonderful to enjoy breakfast with a view or sit and chill with a glass of wine and a good book!"
"this is a comfortable, cosy cottage with everything you could possibly need on holiday and an incredible view towards Trebarwith Strand".
Guests have this apartment entirely to themselves including the balcony to enjoy on sunny days. They also have access to a washer/dryer and tumble dryer in a separate laundry room.
The apartment is entered by a private entrance via a flight of stairs.
There is a dedicated parking space next to the property.
We live near Newquay but my parents are next door for any urgent enquiries. Message me (John) on airbnb with any general non-urgent general questions.
We are located in a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the top of Trebarwith Valley and overlook Trebarwith Strand and Port Isaac Bay.
The beach is a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive and has a beach shop and café. The Port William Inn (overlooking the beach) and the Millhouse Inn (on the way to the beach) also offer food and drink.
A 5 minute drive in the other direction takes you to the village of Tintagel with it's famous castle and legends of King Arthur. The village contains 2 small supermarkets and a number of shops including Boots Chemists and a number of pubs, restaurants, cafes and the doctors surgery
Boscastle is a 10 minute drive, Bodmin Moor 15 mins, Port Isaac 20 mins, Polzeath 25 mins, Bude 30 mins, Padstow 40 mins.
Our nearest Airport is Newquay - approximately 50 minutes drive.
The nearest railway station is Bodmin Parkway - approximately 40 minutes drive.
We have a local bus stop almost outside which goes to Bude in the one direction and Wadebridge in the other direction.
Since rural bus services aren't frequent we advise you to come by car to enjoy the best of Cornwall. There is a dedicated parking space here for your use.
Weekly bookings (Saturday to Saturday) from June to mid September.
