The wet shower room is set just off the living area and is modern and tastefully presented.

Railway Carriage Number 1 was good accommodation for a four-night stay.

Railway Carriage Number 1 was good accommodation for a four-night stay. It is very compact, but the space has been cleverly used. There is a separate bathroom and open kitchen area at one end and the very comfortable double bed goes across the other end with an open area in the middle. The surrounding area is beautiful. Plenty of places to walk the dog, just by following the footpaths by the farm gate. There is also various woodland parks nearby, including Thornley Wood, Land of Oak and Iron and (National Trust) Gibside. It's very relaxing and quiet indeed. The only thing I would say is that it would be a challenging stay if the weather was poor, due to lack of space.
