Description

The Cart Lodge is located alongside the beautiful surroundings of the River Deben valley. With the mill stream running alongside the course contains our own seven green (9 or 18 hole, 52 par) golf course.

Comfortably furnished and newly refurbished, this one bedroom holiday lodge is situated in quiet and peaceful surroundings and boasts a large open plan, sitting room, dining room and kitchen.

This charming holiday lodge sits in the grounds of Glevering Old Mill, and has been recently refurbished into a holiday let.

This property is an ideal base for a couple looking for a peaceful break on the Suffolk coast or a corporate guest looking for long or short term business stays.

There is plentiful wildlife with deer, otters, pike, roach and perch and an exceptionally wide range of birdlife alongside the course.

In summary, a place to sleep, no real ‘touches’ that would elevate it. No welcome pack, no obvious information e.g., how to guides, we found by accident the instructions for operating the cooker and the heating. In essence, no sense of making it a holiday home, other than its mere existence. The road at the end of the drive is busy even though it would appear to be a quiet country lane - there was a steady stream of cars which did distract from the birdsong and overall tranquility of its surroundings.
