This three-bedroom barn cottage is located within the owners’ stunning grounds and has been finished and furnished to a very high standard. The property itself has three good sized double bedrooms (NB: double beds, not king size) and two bathrooms, making it ideal for family holidays and couples getaways. The barn is located centrally in Kent just 20 minutes from Canterbury city centre and from Dover Ferry Port, or going east, the golden sanded beaches of Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate and the picturesque coastal town of Deal.

Surrounding the barn are plenty of lovely walks and cycle routes for the exploring guests to wander. For golfers, only 8 miles away is Royal St. George’s in Sandwich, which hosts the Open Championships every few years, as well as Canterbury Golf Club & driving range and Broome Park Golf Club. For animal enthusiasts there is Wingham Wildlife Park and Howletts Wild Animal Park within 4 miles and 6 miles respectively. With so many things to see and do locally this property is a must! The property would serve well as a base for families and for couples looking to enjoy the countryside and seaside combined. Beach 9 miles.

A lovely little gem, clean as a whistle, peaceful and relaxing. Our multi generational family had a great break enjoying the beautiful countryside and various attractions. The little extras like stock cubes and condiments were very helpful and the wine and biscuits delightful. Thank you!

Lovely cottage, clean and well presented. Location is very rural, despite being only seven miles from Canterbury. Great for days out in Canterbury, White Cliffs of Dover and more. Excellent farm shop two miles away for all your food and household needs. Not much garden at all, however there is a bench table ideally placed for all day sunshine and an area covered by overhanging side roof which is lovely for sitting outside in more inclement weather. Excellent countryside walking from the house. All bedrooms were a very good size.Minor negatives… The beds were all standard doubles, whereas most properties we rent these days have Queen or King beds in at least one room. Some of the furniture and crockery was starting to look a little tired.Owners were fantastic, very helpful, extremely quick to respond to questions.

From the moment we arrived the house and surroundings looked great. The house itself was clean and tidy. You can't think of anything that isn't there. Chrissie kept us well informed, such as maintenance on the power network. There is also a lot to do and see in the area. It was a beautiful week.
