The barn has been converted and furnished to a very high standard.
The barn has been converted and furnished to a very high standard. It is very well equipped and clean. The master bedroom is very special and cosy with stunning views. The lounge and kitchen are great for socialising with friends/family. The garden is safe for dogs. The play area is great for a kick-a-bout. We had some lovely short evening walks out of the drive and along the very quiet country roads. We enjoyed lunch (egg sandwich and chunky chips) at Farndon Ferry pub and then a nice walk along the river.We visited Hardy's farm shop a few times.We had good days out at Newstead Abbey (40 mins) and Belvoir Castle (35 mins). We weren't overly impressed by the food at Belvoir Castle tearooms but enjoyed the food at the Engine Yard cafe at Belvoir Shopping villiage (just across the road). We liked the farm shop there and also the garden centre. Great place for a family get together in a quiet area. Good food and walks. Places of interest to visit just over half an hour's drive away.
