Luxury 2 bed village retreat with 4 pubs & garden with views

Brand new renovation 2021, luxurious & romantic 'Cosy Garden Cottage', peacefully located on a private lane but in Middleham centre, with its 4 pubs just 1 min walk. In addition the Dale is literally footsteps away - no need for a car, we can give you countless walks from your front door!

We are in a region renowned for its scenic walks, waterfalls, brewery's, cheese & gastropubs.

Laze in front of the wood stove, have a BBQ in the garden, relax in the powerful shower or soak in the roll top bath, snuggle in handmade beds, then walk out of the door, to find countless adventures just minutes away.

Our cottage is brand new for 2021! Extreme care has been taken in decorating the cottages to make them feel as homely and cosy as possible, all finishes are luxurious and no expense has been spared. The stone floors are underfloor heated, there is a wood burning stove which is mesmerising.

Only the finest finishing touches have been used, from Smeg hob to Burlington bathroom accessories. Our beds are handmade in Yorkshire, pillows and duvets are feather, bedding is crisp & white, soft furnishings are Co & Cox and the towels are huge, white and fluffy and our guests love them!

We use Bath House products, made in Cumbria, vegan, sustainable in metal bottles and they smell divine! We provide hand wash, sanitiser and cream, body wash, shampoo and conditioner too - all in Bamboo and Jasmin scent.

We also use eco-friendly, refillable cleaning & laundry products and supply them in the cottage for you.

Our kitchen has everything you will ever need, Smeg cooker, Duelit kettle and toaster. Our crockery is Denby and gadgets are Joseph Joseph, we stock Gin ballon glasses for the Gin lovers out there. We have many reviews comment on how well stocked the kitchen is and the quality of the pans, knives etc.

Ideally situated in a quiet lane just at the back of the village square. Lots to do around and about. Very cosy, clean, and surprisingly spacious cottage, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you would need. Small enclosed outside area. We really enjoyed our time here and are already planning a return trip. We loved it, very probably the best holiday rental we’ve ever had (and we’ve had a few!)

Easter Break

Stunning cottage, beautiful decor, with everyting you could possibly need for a comfortable realxing stay including a decent power shower! Wher the cottage is tucked away its very quiet but you are a minutes walk away from the village which has several places to eat and drink, a villae store, antique shops, a Church and Middleham Castle. We receive a faulous welcome hamper with doggie cupcakes included! Communication from the Owner was clear and timely and there is a detialed welcome folder with all the information you may need during your stay. Would highly recommend.

We live in North Yorkshire and love this region. But we always struggled to find luxury properties that allow larger dogs so we bought and renovated our own bolt hole and put everything a luxury seeking dog owner might need!

Quintessential cottages are dog friendly and have been fully renovated, Kent Cottage is new for June 2022. Our reviews so far have all been 5* onGoogle. The cottages are cleaned to a very high standard, so those without dogs have the same luxury experience.

Why they chose this property

The village is exceptional, with 4 super dog friendly pubs who all serve food in the village (and a bistro), a castle (Richard 111 used to live in), 2 antique shops and a village store you don't need to leave!

But if you are a foodie there are some very serious gastropubs within a 15 minute radius. However the roads are pleasant to drive around, with breath-taking scenery at every turn!

What makes this property unique

Our cottage was renovated 2021! Every single aspect is new.

Perfectly located in a quintessential Yorkshire dales village, but on a quiet private lane. The Garden has views of the rolling hills of the Dales, a weber BBQ, huge cosy chairs and a heater for that all important weekend vibe.

We love our roll top bath and big window that lets in the sun, we love the dreid flower garland around the wood burning stove - but the water pressure in the shower is AMAZING, especially when you step onto heated stone floors after ....
