Welcome pack and doggy extras. Front garden with courtyard, firepit, sitting out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children under the age of 3 years old.. This beautiful Cornish one-bedroom property is ideal for people who want the best of both worlds. A lovely rural location, yet only a ten minutes’ drive from the coast. Drive through the gates of Honeysuckle Cottage into your designated parking space and enclosed courtyard, you will see patio doors leading into the open plan living area. There is a door leading to the bedroom which has a double bed, with a Smart TV on the wall and storage available. From the kitchen there is a door into the newly fitted large bathroom with double shower.
You will be spoilt by our beautiful beaches, and for those who wish to visit in the quieter months enjoy relaxing walks along windswept beaches or cliff tops, visiting the quaint fishing villages, and try out the wonderful seafood. There is so much to see, and do here, what do you fancy? A garden, museum, boat trips, walking, cycling, water sports or just lazing on the beach.
There is a short walk (Approx. 1 Mile) from the cottage through a private field to Gunwalloe beach, or if you don’t feel as energetic, a 10-minute car journey will take you the 4.1 miles by road. Whilst you are here, visit the sandy beaches with small hidden coves, discover the dramatic cliff top walks taking in the spectacular scenery. This is a great location to explore The Lizard Heritage Coast which is the UK’s most southerly point and designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can see the oldest mainland lighthouse, explore the coastal paths, refresh at the 15th Century pub or enjoy a local ice-cream or a Famous Anne’s Cornish pasty!
Visit some of our finest gardens at Glendurgan and Trelissick. The historic town of Helston “Home to the Furry Dance” is approx. 5 miles away, impressive heritage meets a modern community, local markets are held at Porthleven and Helston a great way to pick up local produce and souvenirs. Why not visit the Cornish Seal Sanctuary in Gweek, that rescues and rehabilitates seal pups from around the Cornish Coastline? On the way you will pass RNAS Culdrose, one of the largest helicopter air bases in Europe, stop at the viewing enclosure for a closer look. Why not spend time exploring the beautiful town of Falmouth known for its deep natural harbour on the Fal Estuary, visit the National Maritime Museum with its interactive galleries and a flotilla of model boats. There is a well-preserved 16th Century fortress built by Henry V111 at Pendennis Point, enjoy the stunning views with an ice-cream and explore the local walks. Visit Trebah Garden with its subtropical plants or relax in the spectacular pool and sauna facilities at Ships and Castles.
