Great apartment and convenient location

The apartment was great and had everything we needed for our stay. It was all very clean and good condition. It was very easy to get in touch with the host and they were very helpful :)

Long weekend in Funchal

This apartment is only 5 minutes from market, byses and restaurantes and shops. Very spacious, well equipped and clean. Highly recommended.

Perfect place close to downtown Funchal

We spent our Christmas vacation & new years here - 19 days. great location- walking distance to the downtown area of Funchal. It was very clean, had 2 baths 3 bdrm. the pictures are as advertised. basic necessities for a kitchen. The listing said an oven & stove we were happy to bake our Christmas cookies here & make our family Christmas dinner after all we have 3 kids - Christmas restaurants are closed & it’s expensive to eat out all the time. When we got there there was no oven we paid exceptional high for this place because of the Christmas holidays over 3000 euros for 19 days. After complaint oven was removed from listing. There was no reimbursement for this very disappointed. The host Claudia offered a microwave but how do you bake a turkey dinner in that? We also didn’t have hot water. Two people would take a shower & the rest of us would be taking cold showers. That time of season it’s cold at night, There were no heaters provided no extra blankets or extra towels - no beach towels were provided. Fresh bath towels were brought 10 days later. an iron provided to us upon asking halfway through our trip. If you plan on short weekend stays the place is nice because you don’t have to cook meals but for long stays & bigger families it’s not ideal especially with kids, the kitchen is not well equipped no storage containers for left overs & no dryer for laundry. Bath towels would barely dry that time of season it’s damp. A stove & dryer to be considered for better review.

After complaint about the oven, which we apologized for, we immediately got a brand new, bigger one, but insisted that it was not a conventional oven. We did not remove the "oven" from the listing to fool you. We did so, because of future reservations. Very surprised to know that you didn't have hot water for everyone. A message saying that you had issues with that would have made us go to the apartment and try to solve it. We do remember getting a msg from you (towards the end of the stay) saying that there was no running water at all. Immediately after getting the msg, we called the City and found out that they were working on something and they had to shut the water supply for a couple of hours. This is what we do. Take immediate action after a complaint. We did not get any complaints about the hot water. We could not have guessed that was an issue. Neither did we know you needed heaters or extra blankets, since you did not ask. You are also wrong about us being late replacing the linen and towels. On longer stays, we change this every 7 days. Because we were extremely busy during Christmas, we did change everything 10 days after your arrival. So, we were not 10 days late. We were 3 days late, and we did apologize for that. Not very fair this review.

Appartement confortable et bien équipé

Nous sommes arrivés vers 1h du matin .Nous ne trouvions pas l'appartement car l'adresse : rua rochinha 19 A ne correspond pas avec l'entrée qui est situé rua campo da barca ,de l'autre côté de l 'adresse donnée . J'avais reçu des photos mais prises de jour , nous n'avons pas reconnu la rue ou elles se situaient . L'accès à l'appartement se fait par un escalier très raide et correspond à un deuxième étage . Il n'apparait pas sur les photos . Il serait correct de l'indiquer . Sinon l'appartement est bien équipé , propre ,calme et confortable .

Centraal gelegen Madeira appartement

Centraal gelegen woning . De oude stad binnen loopafstand. Helaas werd er verbouwd in het apartement erboven en dat gaf geluidsoverlast. Het contact met de verhuurder was makkelijk via whattsapp. Overall een zeer leuke vakantie gehad.
