I don't live at the property currently but I hope you will enjoy my cosy cottage. 2 Aberdulas is a traditional miners cottage, next to the river, in the summer enjoy sitting outside listening to the river and paddling off the small beach next to the house. In the winter warm up after a walk in front of the wood burner.

Why they chose this property

Corris is a picturesque former slate mining village with walks, a pub, an independent shop/cafe, a tranquil village perfect for a wander. It has a famous steam railway and museum.

Corris is five miles from the historic town of Machynlleth, a pretty market town with shops, antique emporiums, cafes, restaurants and a thriving art scene. Every year in April, the Machynlleth Comedy Festival, a warm up for Edinburgh brings acts and visitors from around the world.

Machynlleth is located within the UNESCO Dyfi Valley Biosphere, the surrounding area is a haven for wildlife with a wealth of forest and woodland. The area is famous for birdwatching including the Dyfi Osprey Project. The beautiful seaside town of Aberdyfi is only a short distance away.

Cader Idris, part of the Snowdonia mountain range is easily assessable near the town of Dolgellau, with breath-taking views on the way. The whole area is famous for walking and hiking as well as having a thriving mountain biking scene, at places such as Coed Brenin Forest Park, Dyfi Bike Park and Climachx Mountain bike trial near Corris.
