Unwind in a haven of tranquillity, just 25 min. from Faro! Our luxurious retreat villa is set in the hillside of pretty São Brás de Alportel. This estate is exuding tranquillity, joy and slow life. Our much loved estate features multiple terraces & outdoor spaces, overlooking the landscaped garden. The Villa has 3 bedrooms, a large pool, a covered terrace, a tea pergola and a patio. With views across the hills and the ocean in the distance, you will experience the very best of the Algarve!

The space
Wake up to the sound of the birds, watch the sunsets from the pool area - create a relaxing and memorable family holiday.
This beautifully decorated 3-bedroom villa offers our guests elegant, modern living and contemporary comfort. Decorated with antique furniture, the spacious rooms feel warm and timeless. There are 2 double bedrooms (one with additional single bed) with 2 separate bathrooms and a kid’s bedroom with a bunk bed, adjacent to the living room and kitchen (you have to go through the kid’s bedroom to go to reach the kitchen).
The 2 bedrooms are air conditioned with large modern panorama windows leading to the terrace and pool area. The thick walls keep the house cool in summer and the spacious covered veranda is perfect for al fresco dining. We also have a covered dining room annexing one of the bedrooms which is perfect for the breakfast or dinners. The fabulous private pool is surrounded by a wide terrace with stunning views across the garden and the Algarve hills. To everyone's delight, there is a charming KOI fish pond in the garden (fenced for safety reasons) and in a separate part of the garden there is a large trampoline for children and adults (which again for safety reasons, can be used only under close supervision by the parents).
Our Villa is the perfect zen retreat for those looking for seclusion and taking the time to reconnect with nature whilst not being far from the restaurants and many attractions of this unspoiled area of the Algarve. Golf, tennis, hiking cycling, beaches are all within a 20-30min proximity. The villa undergoes continual improvements to increase comfort and improve your authentic experience.

Outdoor areas:
Large swimming pool (10m x 4m) with wide steps into the water to the shallow end that passes to a deeper section (3m). Private parking within the secured area. Terrace with dining table for 8 people.

Remaining:
Full Fiber internet, Nespresso machine, dedicated ice machine, flat screen TV, wireless speaker, iron with ironing board, sun beds with sunbrella by the pool and an outside barbecue.

Extra information for families with children:
- In the dining room there is a large old Chinese cupboard with some family board games and children's books.
- The entire estate with its large garden is fenced and secured.
- The swimming pool has a wide walk-in staircase so that children can easily enter the swimming pool.
- There is no fence around the pool, so please monitor children at all times and never let them go into or close to the pool unattended. We do not take any responsibility and liability. Please bring safety gear for small children.
- Please refrain from diving.
- In the upper part of the garden, there is a large trampoline for children and adults (which again for safety reasons, can be used only under close supervision by the parents).
- Next to the house is a separate sitting area with barbecue and firepit where you can enjoy family al fresco dinners.

Guest access
Our guests will have access to everything they need!
It includes access to all the amenities of the Villa, including all furnishings and utensils.
Villa Koi is fully fenced and is restricted. The outdoor area has private parking, swimming pool overlooking the Algarve hills, barbecue, firepit, sitting and dining areas.
You can enjoy the sun all day as well as several shadow & multiple benches areas in the garden.
With the exception of the utility rooms and pool studio room, closets for cleaning and linen, guests have access to the entire house, pool and property. Kindly respect the environment; recycle when possible. Take special care with fires and grill. Please do not feed stray animals or leave food out and please do feed the fish nor access the inside of the fenced pond for safety reasons. When accessing the pool, please note that it has a maximum depth of 3m. Children can only swim under the supervision of an adult and must not dive to avoid accidents.

Other things to note
We are passionate about travel and discovering places ourselves, thus we are excited to share this unique and magical place with you!
Upon request and subject to availability, we can assist in arranging private Yoga & Pilates classes and online Nutritionist sessions.
Please note there is a gardener going to the house every week to water the plants during the summer months. There is also a pool keeper who goes in to clean the pool for one hour on Monday mornings, usually between 10-12h.
Please note: For check in/out that occur on a Sunday or Portuguese Holidays please account for an additional €50 for cleaning.
2 cars can be parked inside the property on the private driveway.
The house itself has been improved and can be kept at a relatively cool temperature if doors and windows are kept shut during the day.
The Villa itself is serviced by a team of professional cleaners, and fresh linen and towels will be provided to you for the duration of your stay.
It is important to mention that Check-ins are between 15:00-20:00 and please understand that check-ins after 20:00 are subject to a €15 surcharge, and from 23:00 to a €30 surcharge, payable in cash upon arrival, in order to cover this special assistance.
