About this property
Pass the Keys | Stunning 17th century 3 bedroom cottage
About this space
My home is a beautiful 17th-century period cottage only moments from the centre of picture-postcard Chipping Campden. With one super-king and two king-size bedrooms, together with three bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps 6 and is perfect for family or friends. Please note: one king-size bed can be split into twins on request at the time of booking.
My cottage has been recently renovated, whilst maintaining it’s original wonderful features, and has been furnished to a superior standard throughout.
The space
My stunning cottage is a fantastic base from which to experience Chipping Campden and also explore the Cotswolds, and everything it has to offer.
My cottage spans three floors, giving plenty of space and privacy for guests. The renovation has been carefully planned, balanced between maintaining original features and a contemporary upgrade, making the cottage a wonderful place to stay!
The downstairs layout has a wonderful dining area at the front of the property, leading through to the main reception room, and a modern fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.
Outside there is a lovely patio area with plenty of seating; a perfect way to unwind after a long day exploring!
The first floor has the master bedroom with majestic super-king size bed and large ensuite shower room, a further bedroom with king size bed and separate shower-room. The top floor has the remaining bedroom, with king size bed and ensuite, complete with bath, as well as a dedicated workspace . All bedrooms come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries.
As this is a traditional Cotswold cottage, there are some low beams and steep stairs, so please be careful.
Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property.
I love living in Chipping Campden and will provide guests with a full list of recommendations of things to do, both locally and slightly further afield.
CHECK IN
Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the cottage sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before. Please try to give as much notice as possible with your arrival time and update on the day with any changes / delays.
Chipping Campden Market Hall is located in the centre of Chipping Campden High Street. This iconic Market Hall is surrounded by ancient houses made from the local honey-coloured stone.
The Almshouses in Chipping Campden are just a short walk away from the main high street built in 1612.
Stepping out of the cottage and turning left will lead you up Dyers lane to Dovers Hill. Described by the National Trust as "A natural amphitheatre on a spur of the Cotswolds, with views over the Vale of Evesham'. On a clear day you can see towards the Malvern Hills and sometimes as far as Wales.
Getting around:
Chipping Campden can be explored on foot, and there are many local wonderful walks.
Busses are available from the town square offering several bus routes to Broadway, Moreton in Marsh, Stratford Upon Avon and Cheltenham. Please check local timetables available in the town square.
The best and most accessible train station is located in Moreton in Marsh, approx 15 min drive away, which has good transport links to London, Oxford and Reading. Parking is available at the station.
CHECK OUT
Check out is 11am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests.
