About this property

The Brew House - a cotswold cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

The Brew House is a stunning Grade II listed, three-bedroom Cotswold stone cottage located in the heart of Chipping Campden, a charming market town. This inviting retreat comfortably accommodates six guests, making it ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a tranquil escape in the picturesque Cotswolds.

As you arrive, you'll be greeted by a row of lovely Cotswold cottages. Stepping inside The Brew House, you'll find a cosy open-plan living and dining area that exudes character. With two plush sofas and two Loom chairs, it's the perfect spot to relax while enjoying the warmth of the woodburning stove nestled in a grand inglenook fireplace.

A few steps lead you to the well-equipped kitchen, featuring polished oak flooring, exposed Cotswold stone, and oak beams.

For additional logs for the stove, a convenient hatch in the kitchen provides access to the cellar, which serves as log storage.

The stairs are tucked behind a door in the kitchen leads to the first floor, where you'll find two inviting bedrooms. The first bedroom boasts oak beams, a window seat beneath a stone mullion, a charming stone fireplace, and a built-in cupboard for storage. Relax in the oak-framed double bed while enjoying your favourite film on the TV. The second bedroom is a bright dual-aspect space with twin beds and oak beams, also featuring a cosy stone fireplace.

These two bedrooms share a stylish shower room complete with high-quality Italian fixtures.

A steep, winding staircase leads to the second floor, revealing a delightful bedroom with an oak-framed double bed. From here, relax with a book or watch your favourite shows on the TV while enjoying views of the church across the street, or relax in the en-suite bath.

Additional Information:
Logs are provided under a fair usage policy from October to March, additional Logs are available for purchase locally at garages, farm shops etc. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for infants or children under seven due to steep stairs The property does not have a garden or outdoor space. Comfortable stay in the heart of Chipping Campden

This cottage was really comfortable with a super bath, well appointed beds and a suitably equipped kitchen. It is very handy for walking into town and it was easy to park on the street close by.

Great location in a charming town! Short easy walk into town with easy parking. Had a wonderful stay in home. Able to relax and enjoy the chance to stay in cottage that was nicely renovated.

Wonderful stay

Property was excellent except for a bit of excessive wear on the sofa arms. Wonderful position for enjoying Chipping Campden and The Cotswolds Plenty of information regarding recycling requirements for Cotswolds Council, but no separate bins in the property

Little touches

Little touches go a long way we was disappointed on arrival there was no welcome basket or little gesture or welcome note as previous cottars I have been too, just a pint of milk in the fridge. Had we known we would have stopped to get tea bags and bread and more loo roll after a 3hr drive. The lighting on the stairs to the bedroom had 2 bulbs out, the top bedrooms sink didn’t drain properly and the en-suite lights didn’t work properly.

An extremely lucky find

After 2 weeks of searching and finding that every b&b and hotel in the Cotswolds was full for the weekend of The Game fair, I reluctantly decided to book a holiday cottage, and I'm so glad that I did. The brew house was absolutely gorgeous, really cute, In a perfect location, in a perfect village with lots of interesting things to see but without being too touristy. The bedrooms are a generous size although two of them do lack any hanging, space for clothes. I also think an additional shower in the en suite bathroom is required as one shower potentially between six people is not sufficient. The whole house was spotlessly clean with a lovely kitchen and decorated in a very contemporary way. We had a very enjoyable stay, and would definitely recommend that any friends or family stay there too.
