There are two historic pubs in the village of Walsham Le Willows to enjoy, The Blue Boar restaurant and inn, first recorded as brewing and selling ale in 1360, and The Six Bells, first recorded selling ale to villagers in 1423.

The award winning Wyken Vineyards, only four miles away, has the Leaping Hare restaurant and country store on a 1,200 acre farm. Housed in a medieval barn, it tells the story from Suffolk farm, English vineyard, garden and plate.
Vegans and vegetarians are well catered for at the specialist The Walnut Tree inn, at Thwaite, about a 20 minute drive too.
Historic Bury St Edmunds, with a Bannatyne spa including swimming pool and restaurant with day passes available, history including a ruined abbey and pitch and putt, market and lots to see too, is just 12 miles away.
