A great property!
We booked Tides Reach for our honeymoon and loved it. A wonderful location. We were there during Storm Bert and it was a warm and cosy place to watch the waves battering the harbour wall. Everything about the cottage was high-end and lovely. The welcome gifts and fizz were muchly appreciated, thank you. Our one disappointment was that the flame-effect fire on the pictures was no longer there. We were looking forward to cosying up in front of that!

Stunning location
Absolutely stunning location. Very clean and well equipped. We parked North Quay car park and used wheelie suitcases.. fairly flat journey. We stayed parked up and used the wonderful Mousehole bus which goes every 20 mins to Penzance and from there you can bus or train all over Cornwall. 3 mile flat coastal walk to Penzance if you prefer. Mousehole Deli for excellent coffee.
Note if 4 people staying the smaller bedroom has limited wardrobe space as half taken up by hot water tank. Kitchen a bit tired but very clean. Small issues like hob lights, oven light, fridge light not working. Small things to fix that would have made a difference.
Wake up with a view of the sunrise from the window. Fantastic location to explore mousehole and surrounding areas. Property very clean with everything you need. I’d recommend and would definitely stay with the kids afai

Perfect stay
We had a really lovely time at Tides Reach and the location was perfect.
The property is charming, well equipped, nicely laid out and we found it very comfortable and welcoming.
The terrace and the huge feature window in the upstairs living space were a real bonus and gave us such lovely views of the harbour. Location is great - we loved the fact that we could just walk or bus everywhere and left the car behind at home.
We also loved that we were only a few mins walk from a couple of really nice deli’s, great coffee and some lovely little restaurants.
We will definitely be making a return visit!

Lovely house in amazing location
House looked exactly like in the photos. It was beautiful, well presented and had everything we needed. Location couldn’t be beaten, we could sit at the table for breakfast and watch the tide in the harbour each morning.
We had a few welcoming gifts in the house from the local deli, which were delicious and a lovely touch and really helped us to settle in and enjoy local produce.
I’d recommend the house to anyone looking to stay in Mousehole and it was so lovely I’m sure we will be back ourselves.

Lovely for an out-of-season break
The cottage is ideally located right on the harbour in Mousehole. The views from the dining table in the lounge are mesmerising. Parking was awkward (£5 all day in one of the nearby car parks) but would be awful in high season. We visited in January when the temperatures were sub-zero and were plenty warm enough. The cottage is clean, cosy and welcoming, just mind yourself on the narrow stairs. A welcome basket of goodies from the local deli was a nice touch. Downsides were that the dishwasher was pretty useless, and there was quite a bit of black mould in the main bedroom on the walls in the window area and elsewhere. Weirdly the paint on the bedroom walls flaked off, and every morning we awoke to our things being covered in a fine white dust which was both annoying and a little alarming when you think you've breathed it in all night too! There was enough hot water for showers for two people at a time, but you'd really struggle if there were four of you wanting showers at the same time of day. Mousehole is a seasonal destination and only one of the local pubs was open during the week we were there, and many shops were closed til Spring. Two restaurants were closed due to refurbishment too, so be mindful of this if you visit in winter. The plus side of course was that it was very peaceful with few tourists around, so it made for a relaxing break.

A stunning property
We had a wonderful time here at Tides Reach in January. We found the beds comfortable, the showers excellent and everywhere was very clean. We loved sitting in the picture window in the early morning, watching the light change over the sea and the dawn skies clearing. One morning we were lucky to see gannets plunging into the sea, just beyond the sea wall. The binoculars were very useful. We loved the delicious produce left for us from the local shop, a fantastic resource for Mousehole, well worth a visit. Most eating places were closed in Mousehole in January but we had a fantastic meal at the Alverne in Penzance. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals at the cottage. We thought Mousehole was a great base for visiting all that West Cornwall has to offer.

Stunning location
Location location location!
Perfectly situated in the village but the terrace offers a private sanctuary to enjoy the lapping of the water when the tide comes in. The views of the harbour from the house are stunning.
Thoroughly recommend.
