About this property
Abersoch holiday home. Outstanding views of the bay. Wifi and Electric charging
‘Brynmor’ is a much loved family holiday home with outstanding views across Cardigan bay. Situated nestled in Bwlchtocyn, at the far end of Abersoch’s main beach. Beach access is a 4 minute walk, hop, skip and jump away via the affectionately known ‘Bunny Path’ where you will find direct access to the sands of Sarn Bach/Machroes beach, views of the St Tudwalls’ islands and ‘The little Tearooms at Mickey’s Boatyard’ where you can have breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.
The Porthtocyn Hotel is a 5 minute walk up the road, with Abersoch Village a short drive away or stroll across the beach. A short stroll in the other direction will also give you access to the headland and coastal path.
The property is accessed via a short flight of steps to the front of the property, although it is possible to walk round to the rear where there is only one step for those who may have mobility issues.
The property consists of 4 bedrooms:
• 1 King bedroom adjacent to the family bathroom
• 1 Double bedroom with sea view and en-suite shower room with enclosed walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. This bedroom is accessed down a short flight of stairs.
• 1 double bedroom
• 1 single bedroom with basin and sea view
The second, family bathroom, hosts a bath, separate walk-in enclosed shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC.
There is a large lounge with stunning views over the bay plus an additional sunlounge area which is lovely to sit in and read. This has access to a sheltered rear terrace which is a sun trap on windier days. The lounge and front terrace have a beautiful aspect of the ever changing view of the sea and come equipped with outside dining table, parasol and gas BBQ. To the rear of the property is an extra storage room with a second charcoal BBQ, sun loungers, extra fridge as a place to store your wine and beer and a freestanding Freezer.
The compact kitchen is fully equipped for your needs with fridge, washing machine, dish washer, electric oven and microwave. Heating is via night storage heater and electric heaters in each bedroom.
For entertainment there is a TV, DVD Player, WiFi and selection of books and board games.
There is ample off-street parking at Brynmor and an electric charging point for those who may have an electric car. There is space for one boat on the tarmac in front of the front terrace. This is a quiet road consisting of only 5 houses. Brynmor is set back off the road and has a large garden for children to play in.
The Llyn Peninsula is a stunning area of outstanding beauty. There is easy access to the coastal path with its many coastal walks and surrounding beaches of Porth Ceiriad and Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). Abersoch is a very popular harbour village with an amazing landscape and coastal path leading to beautiful bays and sandy beaches. Water sports are very popular and paddle board hire and sailing lessons can be easily booked from the beach. There is also the Abersoch Golf Club within walking distance which is open to members and non-members alike.

About the host
Hosted by Katie Ravenscroft
We have had our much loved holiday home in the family for over 50 years and still continue to enjoy the beaches and beautiful surrounding area. Sailing is our passion and the bay of Abersoch offers many exciting opportunities for the avid sailor or wind surfer. Abersoch is a really sociable village with great independent shops, restaurants and bars and we love to meet up with friends we have met here over the years to share a glass of Prosecco or quick pint.
Why they chose this property
The views speak for themselves. They are ever changing and you never get bored of sitting on the terrace or the lounge window and looking out at the sea. It is really close to the beach and, as such, we spend much of our time walking down there or along the headland of the welsh coastal path. The house has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 7 people on request. There is wifi in the lounge area, BBQs for your use and an external electric charging point for one car.
