A very conveniently situated property. Parking good, though sometimes spaces a bit hard to find. Local amenities excellent. The property might be a bit cramped for more than three adults. Storage space upstairs a bit limited, but that didn't matter for a holiday stay. Comfy.
The apartment was very clean, and the location was close to the center of Ennistymon, although on a busy street (daytime) and across from a funeral home. I notified the management company on arrival that there was no internet connection. The listing stated that it might be intermitent, but I did not gain any access during my 3-night stay. The management company did send someone to the unit to troubleshoot and kept me informed that the problem had not been solved during my stay. I used the public library for itnernet access each day. This was a little scary, since I was staying alone.

We are very sorry, but unfortunately, the wifi was out of our hands, as we are not the wifi providers. There was some issue with the connection that needed a technician from the wifi company to come sort out. We are happy to say it's now back working. We are very sorry about that - but that is why we make clear that this is a free extra we provide and unfortunately rare issues do happen.

I booked the property for a three week trip to Ennistymon May- June. The location was great, on the main street, but the traffic didn't bother me. Inside the 4 walls if the house was lovely, bright and clean. I took off a star because the outside was covered with spiders and webs and very dirty, like it hadnt been cleaned for months and the laundry room outside was the same. I had to edclean the washing machine before I could use it and the patio, too. A BIG rat ran across the patio and under the deck, and I did report it, but I had to leave 2 days early and was refunded for those 2 days.
I used the cottage as a base for my travels around Ireland, so I wasnt there every night. The beach is 5 miles away, an easy drive or bus ride. Grocery and pharmacy in walking distance and great little pubs.
Would I recommend it? Yes, if the outside was cleaned. Would I stay again? Yes.
