About this property

Charming Georgian Cottage with Private Sun Terrace

Summary:
THE CURATED PROPERTY COMPANY PRESENTS: Characterful Primrose Cottage is located at the heart of Bath's historical Artisan Quarter. Step back in time as you explore this vibrant area with its independent boutiques, quirky cafes and contemporary restaurants.

With two king-size bedrooms and a convenient city-centre location, the cottage is ideal for couples, small friend groups or young families looking for a beautiful space to unwind whilst exploring the wonderful city of Bath.

The Space:
Despite its historical disposition, Primrose Cottage is very much young at heart. With a bright, modern interior adorned with designer wares, the cottage exudes a high-end boutique feel.

Dining at home is a pleasure with the fully equipped kitchen and raised al fresco terrace (accessible via the outside courtyard). If the weather doesn’t permit eating outdoors, there's always the cosy dining room, with its large table and four chairs. Cook up a storm and enjoy some social dining over a bottle of your favourite tipple.

The bright and airy downstairs living room is a versatile space, ideal for relaxing in the evening in front of the Smart TV, releasing your competitive spirit with the selection of board games or pursuing the collection of indie magazines. The comfortable sofas are decorated with limited edition Always Sunday cushions, and the room's antique embellishments won't leave you short on conversation points. Set the ambience with your own music playlists, which you can play through the vintage French radio.

If it's time to yourself you're craving, a relaxing soak in the freestanding claw-footed bathtub, surrounded by the unique pink handmade tiles on the walls, should do the trick. Whether you opt for a bath or a refreshing shower, our local Ubiety brand wellness products are on hand when you desire a little indulgence.

When it's time to turn in, drift off to sleep in a world of splendour and charm. Adorned with designer Divine Savages wallpaper, antique crystal chandeliers and original artwork, the upstairs bedrooms will whisk you off to a timeless dreamland where old-world opulence meets modern luxury.

Although it might be easy to forget which era you've woken up in at Primrose Cottage, the comforts of the modern world are never far away. Our Smart TV is equipped with NOW TV, and you can also log into your own streaming services during your stay. Wi-Fi is available throughout, and most of the vintage items and artwork you'll find throughout the cottage can be purchased from local stores.

Guest Access:
Guests will have sole access to the whole cottage.

The Neighborhood:
If you are driving, we recommend parking your car at Charlotte Street Car Park. This is a paid car park; you can use the Mipermit app to pay for your stay. Primrose Cottage is a 15-minute walk from here along the historic Paragon - a fine example of the Georgian architecture for which Bath is renowned.

There is a Morrisons located a 10-minute walk from the cottage, away from the city centre, and you'll find a Waitrose a 10-minute walk towards the city centre.

Getting Around:
We recommend that you park the car at Charlotte street car park for the duration of your stay. Pay to park using the Mipermit app is the easiest way. From here it is a 15 minute walk along the historic Paragon, a fine example of Georgian architecture which Bath is so well known for.

There is a Morrisons 10 minutes walk away headed out of Bath and a Waitrose 10 minutes walk away, in the city centre.

Other Things to Note:
Unfortunately, there is no parking at the property. Payable parking is available at Charlotte Street Car Park, approximately 15 minutes walk from the cottage.

If your dog is on the smaller side, well-trained, and over the age of two, they are more than welcome to join you during your stay. If you would like to bring more than one dog, please message us, and we'll see what we can do.

When booking with us, your stay will be protected by a Deposit Guarantee, Guest Guarantee and public liability provided by our risk management partner, SUPERHOG. To benefit from this protection, you will be contacted by SUPERH0G directly to verify yourself
