Absolutely amazing 1150 sq. ft. interior designed two bedroom quiet apartment with own courtyard garden. The apartment has been finished to the highest of standards in the heart of South Kensington and is close to all the amenities and landmarks of London, with a wide range of restaurants and bars close at hand and Gloucester Road tube station only a 4 minute walk away. The apartment is equipped with everything you will need from toasters, kettles and linen, to TV and wifi along with portable A/c and fans. Truly exceptional, you will not be disappointed. Apartment was even better than we expected. Beautifully decorated and had everything our family needed. The second bed in the twin room was great because our older daughter who is studying in London was able to join us for 2 nights. Location superb - very safe South Kensington neighborhood less than 5 minute walk to the Tube and plenty of coffee shops, bakeries, grocery, etc very close by. Highly recommend this terrific apartment.

Perfect apartment to explore London

We had a wonderful stay at Lucy's apartment. The location was great - very easy access to the rest of London, walking distance to some great attractions and restaurants. The apartment was very clean, and had everything our family needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely South Kensington apartment. The decor is charming and thoughtfully done, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The space was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit.The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the Tube. It made getting around London incredibly easy. A grocery store is also located nearby.The unit is close to a private boys school, and during the day, we could hear the boys playing during recess in the charming courtyard behind the apartment. This just added to the wonderful experience for us.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in a beautiful London setting.

Perfect little gem

Beautifully appointed apartment with quality furnishings and fittings. Incredible location close to everything we could possibly have needed: transport, shops and food, yet still tucked away from the street and quiet. Plenty of space to relax, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated the effort to make our stay comfortable, including the lovely welcome box of tea and goodies, exactly what you feel like after a long travel experience.

Lovely Stay

This was a very comfortable and enjoyable spot for our family to stay during our visit to London. It’s a great location and close to the Gloucester tube and a pleasant walk to Kensington Gardens and South Kensington. It’s very easy to get to the flat from Heathrow using the Piccadilly line. Our teenagers did not enjoy the noise of the schoolchildren every weekday morning, but it helped us get them up and going in the mornings!

Located in a lovely part of London ideal for exploring, close to Gloucester tube station & plenty of nice restaurants in short walking distance. Apartment provides a good home base and serviced our family of 4 well. Lucy was very prompt and responsive.

Wonderful London Stay

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Very spacious and looks just like the photos. Perfect for our family if 4. Perfect location in South Kensington and 3 minute walk to closest tube station. It is the garden level apartment but still had light. Kitchen was well stocked and was nice to have another half bath when you walk in. There was a bit of painting they were doing but the workers were never there when we were. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Wetherby Place

Best place and location we’ve stayed in London. Repeat travelers but we will rebook this flat on our next trip and recommend to our friends as well. The flat was exactly as the photos depict! Our host, Lucy, was terrific and took care of us. When there was a tech problem with the TV she promptly dispatched her charming son who works nearby to help us out. He was wonderful and chatted with my husband about soccer before leaving. Thanks to Lucy for a wonderful time at the flat!

Excellent Stay

My husband and I brought our three adult daughters to the UK for Christmas. We ended our stay in London at this VRBO in South Kensington. Lucy was very easy to work with and arranged for us to have a check-in that accommodated our travel schedule. She responded quickly to messages leading up to our stay and during our stay. The property is in South Kensington about a block off of a main street that has a grocery store, pubs, other shops, and a tube station. It could not have been more convenient. The property itself is in a beautiful, quiet, clean residential area. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-cared-for and has plenty of space even for five adults. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the pots, pans, etc. to cook most anything. We cooked breakfast and dinner here on Christmas Day. We would stay here again without any hesitation.

Great location

Apartment was well kept and comfortable. Location was good - close to Gloucester tube and a SuperValu and several restaurants. Lucy was very easy to work with. I would recommend bringing along a speaker for white noise or music. You can clearly hear people above you and there's a school practically next door where the kids start early! :) For those with mobility issues the stairway down to the basement apartment can be challenging and the tub is very high to crawl in and out. Also, ask Lucy if the scaffolding has come down, it is directly over apartment so you do walk under it and it blocks light in front and back. Not a huge bother just the port a potty not greatly attractive... Overall, I'd recommend the space.

We had the most wonderful stay at Lucy’s charming apartment in South Kensington! The location was absolutely perfect—close to the tube and everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of character, making it feel like a true home away from home. Lucy was an excellent host, always quick to respond and so helpful with anything we needed. It was the perfect place for our mother-daughter trip to London, and we would love to stay here again!

Home away from home

This home has been an absolute pleasure. It is exactly as it is described and then there are some additional perks that make it a great choice for a family or someone that wants tradition and an updated style within minutes of restaurants, a pub, and the tube entrance. Communication was professional and prompt. Truly, this home is one I plan on returning to.

Beautiful property in a safe neighborhood very close to the metro station to reach all the turistic spots.Lucy was very good to answer all my inquiries. Nice touch to find a welcome box when we arrived with tea and scones!The only downsize is the set of steps down to the front door, specially with heavy suitcases. Overall a great stay and we will come back!
