Located in a walker’s paradise, you can enjoy the rolling hills of the High Peak from your doorstep.. Ground Floor:

Vera’s Cottage is a mid-terraced property located in Edale, surrounded by famously named rolling hills forming ‘The Great Ridge’. This Peak District walk from Edale includes the full length of the Castleton Ridge from Lord’s Seat to Lose Hill via Mam Tor and there are breathtaking views on each step you take. Your nearest villages and towns are Castleton, which is home to the caverns where you can take a guided boat tour to learn the history of their formations, and Buxton which is packed with delicious food spots, the Pavillion Gardens, many independent shops plus the opera house with weekly shows.
Arrive at Vera’s Cottage and pull into the parking space opposite; there is a patio top the front where you can sit and take in the stunning views of the hills before entering into the hallway. The living room has comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner where you can warm your toes after a busy day exploring. The kitchen has the added benefit of an additional wood burner, along with all the appliances and equipment you should need. There is also a dining table with chairs and back door access. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one kingsize and the other with adult size bunk beds. There is also a family bathroom. To the rear there is a good sized garden with a patio and lawn. This is a fantastic spot to call you base whilst you indulge in your Peak District getaway.
