NEW Luxury Countryside Retreat for Family and Friends

Welcome to your home in the East Midlands!

My air-conditioned, underfloor heated, spacious 2 bedroom loft, is a loving conversion of the standalone Victorian red-brick stable building at my family home, Rectory Farm, which is set in rolling countryside close to Market Harborough (1 hour by train to London).

It has literally just been converted for luxury modern living so everything is brand new and sparkling clean. It's filled with custom-made furniture, original art and fun gadgets.

The Loft is a large 135 sq metre / 1450 square foot space which welcomes friends and families or work colleagues travelling together. Ideal for those who want a relaxing and luxurious place to stay which is a world apart from the chain hotels and poor quality accommodation otherwise available.

If you are coming in a bigger group why not consider also booking my other 3 bedroom listing at the same location, The Barn - Its an amazing Indoor/Outdoor Living space with a 10 metre glass wall and its own garden that sleeps 8, or The Cottage, my romantic one bedroom that sleeps 4. Put together the three units offer sleep 18 adults and 4 infants and offer an amazing space for larger reunions and get togethers. Check my profile for more information.

Wonderful home away from home

We had an awesome time at the Loft in Clipston. The house has everything you could possibly need. The grounds are beautiful and being close to Market Harborough is a real plus, as it is a lovely town. The loft has a fantastic kitchen and the bedrooms are comfortable and cozy. If you are looking for a great stay in the East Midlands this is an excellent spot! Thanks for having us, Susan!

The Beautiful Rectory Farm / Loft

We had a wonderful stay at the Rectory Farm for the Christmas Holidays. We stayed in the two bedroom loft which was perfect for our family. We saw some fantastic wildlife including a badger, ducks, birds and loved the rolling green English countryside.

Luxurious and modern in bucolic surroundings

In an area hard to find accomodation the Loft was a real gem. We loved the quality of the amenities, and the modern design. We especially liked the study area as it allowed our student children to work in peace. The smart home setup (Amazon echo, smart lights, AC) is really neat. Looking forward to our next visit

All Our Christmas Wishes Came True

The Loft was the ideal location for our festive family stay in England. From the Christmas tree to the popcorn machine, the carefully chosen furniture to Alexa on hand to play Christmas tunes, every little detail was perfectly thought out. Susan, our host, has created a truly special rural hideaway. We look forward to staying at The Loft again.

Fantastic property

We stayed for two nights at The Loft. We were a group of friends catching up and the property was perfect. It’s been recently renovated to a very high standard with all mod cons. It’s in a lovely setting with great privacy which was great for us. There were some great finishing touches such as fresh bread on arrival. Anne who met us to check in was very helpful and the information provided by Susan before arriving was comprehensive. It was a short taxi ride into Market Harborough which had plenty of pubs and restaurants. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a luxurious base in the area!

Luxury accommodation in the countryside

We loved our stay at The Loft for 2 nights - the actual accommodation is done up to such a high standard. We felt like it was home away from home. Susan has done up the property herself and the little touches she has made can really be noticed -eg. Alexa, Rituals products, Wellington boots I felt like the property has everything you could need during your stay and if there is something missing then Susan is on hand to sort straight away. The rural setting of where the property lies just made the whole stay and experience that little bit more special- getting away from the city. We would love to stay at The Loft or one of the other properties again in the future!

Secluded luxury barn conversion with amazing balcony and views; with top level comfort

This barn conversion truly is an amazing experience, overlooking beautiful fields and rolling hills. A top notch, luxury 2 bed property that is spacious and in a very quiet location at the end of a very long, winding lane ensuring that peace and quiet are guaranteed. The highlight is a balcony overlooking a pond, where you can sit and watch the world go by. A well stocked kitchen ensures you can stay home and cook food from the excellent local farm shop, or there are a couple of good pub/hotels serving food 5m down the road. Overall a truly top level accommodation; if you book you won't be disappointed.

More than just a luxury accommodation

My second stay at the loft, and again it delivered on all fronts. Everything has been considered here from the tranquil decor and use of light, to the modern conveniences and technology. Travelling a lot for work I have not found a better location for balancing a living space with the need to spend time working at the laptop. All of the amenities, fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard, and what really sets this location apart from others I have stayed at is the value Susan and her team put on service and support for your stay. I wont hesitate in booking again the next time I am headed that way.

Picturesque location

The property is stunning! If you are looking for a retreat to the countryside, this is it. The Loft is beautifully appointed with gorgeous views, comfortable spaces and all the sweet touches that surprise you. A fresh loaf of locally baked bread, butter, milk and plenty of other treats to indulge in. Explore the farm with a pair of Hunter boots left for your use during your stay. We absolutely loved everything about The Loft, farm, host and comforts of the countryside retreat. Susan gave us many recommendations for pubs, parks, sites, etc. It really was a superb experience. We cannot wait to return.

Where to start! What a place. My self and my partner really enjoyed this magical loft. we set out for a place that were we could re charge bond and silence the noise city life brings and this environment did just that. the staff on arrival were so welcoming, the place was clean and warm with enough tech to give you all the connivence you need whilst simultaneously creating a homely mood. The grounds are beautiful to walk around and the shops aren’t that far away for your basic needs. We are planing on visiting again in the summer.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Loft. The owners were very welcoming & informative. The property is in a beautiful setting & has all the modern conveniences that a family could want. We particularly appreciated the very comfortable beds, the ample workspace with fast WiFi, the smart TV & access time Amazon speakers, the x-box & easy control of the lighting & air conditioning on well placed wall panels. Eating out on the balcony on a sunny day is a real treat, looking out on the duck pond. We would be happy to stay at this property again & any other properties owned by the same owners as, by the pictures, they all look as though the quality of the surroundings are important & they pay attention to the details. I highly recommend The Loft as a place to stay if you are planning to explore the Midlands or even further away.

A wonderful country retreat

We stayed in the loft for a week and it was perfect. The house itself is beautiful, having being carefully designed to ensure maximum comfort and style. We loved the huge windows and views from which we watched hares, pheasants, ducks, geese and even the landing of a hot air balloon. The loft was very baby friendly for our 18 month old with a stair gate installed for us, cot, high chair and black out blinds. Other features we loved were the showers, beds, the collection of hunter wellies, fully stocked coffee machine, great travel books and laundry. We loved walking on the property and visiting nearby places such as Foxton Locks, Mini Meadows farm and Kelmarsh gardens. Some great farm shops nearby and we cooked lots - but there are also great pubs to eat at in nearby villages. All communication with Susan was super efficient. Can’t wait to return

Absolutely amazing stay!!!!

I recently stayed at The Loft for one weekend - it was amazing! There is nothing I can fault about this accommodation. I loved it so much that I stayed at the owners second property on the farm (the cottage) one month later. Both properties are beautifully decorated with amazing interior, spacious and include a number of extras including an Amazon Echo, Popcorn maker, milk, bread, jam and cereals provided. The owner is very helpful, friendly and easily contactable via WhatsApp - there is also someone who greets you upon arrival, which is extremely helpful as they show you how to use all facilities and answer any questions you may have. I found that the owner was happy to answer all questions and tries her best to accommodate for additional requests (ie. late checkout). Wifi worked well, the tv is already logged into a Netflix account and the owner allows you to walk in her acres of land. I would highly recommend this property and the cottage. Lovely host and I will definitely be booking a third stay soon!!!!

Fabulous holiday staycation

Having previously stayed at The Barn which is truly amazing, my husband and I decided to try The Loft. Again another truly stunning property. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The added touches such as the fresh bread and jams were so welcoming and the wine went down a treat. Like all the other properties on the site, the Loft is “very smart” and has all the fancy gadgets that make them stand out. The heating, blinds and lights are all integrated and it even has couple of Alexas to make us feel at home. The beds and bathrooms are so luxurious, so much so that they would easily be deserving of 6 stars! Our host Susan has been great at the communication side of things. Nothing has been too much trouble. We have had a super time, and with such a stunning location and views to die for, we would highly recommend it so don’t hesitate to book such a fabulous place. You won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back to try out one of the new properties once they are complete. Can’t wait! Thank you.

Beautiful holiday house in a beautiful setting

We had a wonderful stay at this property. From the start we had a very kind, Covid-19 aware welcome. All the information that we needed with regard to using the appliances in the house were conveniently located on a small tablet. The owners kept in touch frequently, but via email or SMS, so as not to be intrusive. The information received was very helpful. The property itself is a beautifully updated stable loft. It was very clean & very tastefully decorated throughout with high quality fittings. The beds were very comfortable & air conditioning units ensured that we could get the perfect temperature no matter the weather. The kitchen had all that would be needed to cater for yourself on a short break. Eating outdoors on a sunny day on the balcony gave us a treat looking out on the beautiful surroundings. We still needed the odd time to keep in touch with work so really appreciated the good WiFi connections & workspace. Our boys loved the x-box & use of The smart TV & amazon Echo speakers. Knowing what we know now I would be happy to stay at this property or any of the owner’s other properties again. I would stay longer though!!
