The option of 5 beaches, plus the coastal footpath, neighbouring villages and beaches too, you are simply spoilt for choice!
No.3 Linkside is a vibrant pocket of comfort based in a great setting of the South Hams. This apartment, sleeping 5 offers retro décor with a homely feel. Arriving at the Linkside property, a grand turning circle welcomes you on the drive. Within the property you are met with the buildings lobby. Gracefully decorated in soft colours with large potted plants that emphasise the beauty of the building.
The apartment is situated on the ground floor, with a small staircase leading to the front door. Upon entry to the property you are welcomed into the entrance hall, continuing into the hallway of bedrooms. Storage for coats, shoes and umbrellas are tucked away behind the gorgeous mahogany built-in cupboard. Adjacent to the cupboard you are welcomed into the bright and airy open plan lounge and dining room. A glorious suntrap room just off the lounge makes for a lovely quiet space for morning coffee and taking in the view overlooking the magnificent Thurlestone Bay. Sliding doors from the sunroom open onto the lightly planted raised stone patio, perfectly inviting you outside.
The large window in the lounge showcases the beauty that is Thurlestone Rock. Immersed in rural charm 3 Linkside, offers a large stone walled open fire and log storage, allowing you to snuggle up for the evening in true coastal comfort. The dining area is raised by a step from the lounge where you will find the large dining table and chairs able to seat 6 comfortably. The kitchen backs onto the diner with an additional entry from the entrance hall. The light and bright décor shares a story that was once a home to the owners, now rented for your pleasure. A unique quirky aspect of this property stems from the original 70’s décor that still remains.
The U-shaped kitchen offers counter space for the preparation of meals, with a wide array of appliances including an electric oven and hob, freestanding fridge/freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher. A serving hatch through to the dining room is an original feature that not only boasts charm and character but allows you to serve meals and keep the party feeling connected and together.
A characterful family bathroom still maintaining original features of the turquoise suite bring fun and charm to this apartment. This bathroom comes fitted with a bath and overhead shower, sink, toilet and towel rail.
There are three bedroom options during your stay. At the end of the hallway, the master is to the left. This room is elegantly designed with plenty of space for the super king size bed. It comes with a built-in wardrobe, view of the rear garden and a retro avocado en-suite. Bedroom two is to the right of the master and again is a spacious one, offering an interchangeable single twin or super king arrangement. A vanity dresser with a mirror and built-in wardrobe provides great storage space. The last bedroom is a cosy single, perfect for children or last minute guests.
