IDEAL Comfy peaceful CARIHUELA HOUSE 3 mins beach Fast Wifi Air/Con Pool!

In Carihuela, Torremolinos, in a unique environment. Beautiful, quiet, comfortable, clean house to enjoy while relaxing. Excellent for vacation or work stays. The urbanization is private with charm. The shared community pool is salt water and is usually empty (check schedules) as the beach is so close, just 150 meters from Carihuela beach. The area has some of the best restaurants and bars on the Costa del Sol.

The house has two floors, with air conditioning and heating (€1= 3.5 hours, with pause mode) in all rooms. Fully equipped kitchen.
No car is needed, but there is parking available in the urbanization (€). You can also park on the street for free. 1Gb Wifi fiber, and international TV channels (France 24, , Foxnews, BBCWorld News, CNN, Soccer...).

The beds, the sofa and the sofa bed are comfortable and of good quality. There is a balcony in the main room from which you can see the sea. There is also a private patio on the ground floor that is accessed from the living room. Towels and 100% cotton sheets are provided.
There are banks, shops, supermarkets (DIA, Mercadona, Carrefour), medical centers nearby... There are stairs to access the house.

We have magnificent public transport:
-The bus stop is just outside the entrance to the urbanization: Airport, Malaga, Marbella, Torremolinos center, Fuengirola, Mijas, Benalmádena... with frequent services.
--The suburban train station 'Montemar Alto' is about 7 minutes away, the trains are frequent and go to Malaga, Airport and Fuengirola:
5 stops from the Airport (10-15 minutes),
10 stops (20-25 minutes) from the AVE station in Malaga, 1 hour from Córdoba, 2 hours from Seville, 3 hours from Madrid
-Malaga airport 10 minutes by car/taxi. €30

We were met by Martha who was very polite, showed us around the house and answered any questions. Quite area but very close to everything going on. House was very clean and tidy with everything you need for a holiday stay. Pool area very small but great to have somewhere to go for a cool down at the end of the day. Great time had by my husband and I.

Well situated but inventory could easily be improved

We liked our stay in Martha's house and she was very nice although she might answer short important questions more rapidly. The inventory needs improvement, including cutlery, which is not a difficult problem to take care of. We had some misunderstandings regarding parking space for our car but solved that with some extra payments. Bottom line we left the house with good feelings.

We would have greatly appreciated if you had told us about the cutlery while you were here as we are trying to figure out what the issue with the cutlery is, and we could have dealt with it straightaway. However, you prefered to keep it quiet and write it on the review. As per parking, it is clearly indicated on the ad that there is an extra charge for it, as it has to be hired from a neighbour. Finally, We accommodated your demands for your reservation as well as we could, although we didn't have to, but still went the extra mile and we have still rated you highly. Disappointed

We were very disappointed and feel this property description is over-enthusiastic. As mentioned by others there were problems with Wi-Fi, the Freeview is not Freeview as we know it from the UK and the house needs a lot more than just a little TLC. Linens were threadbare and though the house was tidy it was far from clean. I don't want to come across as a crank so I took a short video on my phone. Search elsewhere for "La Carihuela Townhouse" and you'll get it. We decided not to stay and though the owner did not return the cash we'd paid on the day we did get our deposit back.

Dear Ivan, We are very sorry that you felt dissapointed last summer; but you made us believe that everything was OK in the morning of your arrival; and it was not until the evening ,that you decided to tell us that you were leaving giving some real unreasonable arguments eg: a cramp on the floor etc that could be cleaned in no time. We also question why it took you 8 months to place your review. Ivan, we take our holiday rental accommodation offering seriously,and it is our priority to always add great value to our guests´ very important holiday experience. However, we could not agree with your unreasonable claims; and unfortunately, we had no other choice but stick to our cancellation policy; since, it was your unilateral decision to rent somewhere else without making us aware telling or to find an agreement with us. Lastly, as you see from our reviews, our guests are always very satisfied with their experience.

A practical and convenient holiday House

A very welcome location, just a short walk to a very clean and spacy beach (Carihuela), with many shops and beach bars/restaurants (my recommendation is Canto del Agua restaurant on the embankment, with hot-stone grill and very intelligent service). Easy public transportation to Malaga by bus (20-30 minutes depending on traffic, 1.55 euro per ticket) and other locations (like Benalmadena). The house is a part of a complex. A very big plus is that it's not the first line housing facing the beach/sea. as all the holiday-stay places right on the beach suffer quite an extreme noise throughout the day, and, especially, around 9-11pm due to many bars/chiringuitos with crowds of people shouting and singing. The manager of the complex is an extremely nice lady who makes you feel welcome if you don't complain about tiny things like the sound of bubbles in the swimming pool or walking 50 meters to a bin where you dispose of your garbage bags. A supermarket is about 500 meters away from you, and there you can get anything you need for your comfortable stay. Airconditioning works perfectly, you just have to feed the machine with 1 euro coins every 2.5 hours (but for me it was enough to use it once a day at most as I was there during the second half of September). And internet (wi-fi) works well only if you are sitting in the back yard (which was perfect with me, loving the fresh air). Many thanks to Maria and her husband! And, of course, to Pepe, although I haven't had a pleasure of meeting him. Chris, London.

Beautiful Townhouse

We have just enjoyed 9 nights in this Townhouse. We were a party of 2 adults and 3 Kids (ages 8, 7 & 5). Everything you could possibly need is provided, washing machine, Iron, Ironing Board, Microwave, Hob, Oven, fridge freezer, towels,etc (beach towels are not provided). The Apartment is very centrally located with just a 5 minute stroll to the beach, location is very safe, with access to the complex restriced by secure gates. The house is easy to maintain and keep clean during your stay. The two bedrooms and one bathroom are on the first floor, with the kitchen, dining area and sitting room on the ground floor, there is a small private patio area. Air con is controlled by a coin meter, it only takes €1 coins, which lasts for 2.5 hours. There are three individual A/C units, 1no. in the sitting room, and 1no. in each of the bedrooms. All can be controlled individually and set at different settings. Your credit can also be saved if you are leaving the house, you simply press stop and restart it upon your return. SKY free to air Satelite is also provided. The pool is on the small side, with 1.5m depth all around, but it is spotlessly clean, there isn't a lot of bathing areas, no loungers or inflatables are allowed. Maria, the complex manager is extremly helpful and is always available. She lives in the complex and is always eager to assist with any request. Rather than have one of the kids downstairs on the sofa, she arranged a separate mattress to have all three kids in the 2nd bedroom. Simple things like this make all the difference. There is a Lovely Bakery located on your way to the beach (handy for the beach picnics). Theres lots of bars, restaurants and shops to pass away the days and evenings.The whole area is exceptely clean considering the volume of people passing through every day. A 20 minute walk along the prom in either direction will take you to either Torremolinos or Benalmadena Marina. We used Malaga Minibus for the transfers to and from the airport, we would have no problem in using this company again. Friendly, english speaking and prompt service €67 return for a private minibus. The booking is done directly with the owner Pepe, who was extremly helpful throughout the process. We paid the full amount directly to Pepe as we booked it so close to the arrival date. Normally a balance is paid direct and the outstanding balance is paid to Maria on arrival. We had a brilliant holiday and would have no problem in recommending this Property.

Het is een fijn huisje. We hadden een klein probleempje met de parasol, maar dit is echt meteen opgelost. Fijne communicatie. Ligging is ook top. Zo aan het strand. Zwembad hebben we lekker gebruik van kunnen maken en was lekker rustig.

Very quiet, near to supermarket,beach, bus and railway could not have asked for anything better for convenience,The accommodation was all that my wife and I hoped for, accurate description of accommodation in the owners brochure, The only down side was that we had to return home early owing to the lockdown and the coronaviris, this affected everyone and bore no reflection to the end of was up to then a wonderful holiday in this lovely part of Spain. Fijn huis in Torremolinos. Kleinschalig complex waar ook mensen permanent wonen. Gebouwd op een rots, vanaf het strand loop je ophoog en na de poort de trappen op.

Lovely property, exactly as described. A short walk to the shops & beach, and about 10 mins to the train station.
