We are in the middle of nature, where we breathe fresh air, we walk, we move, we observe nature in all seasons. In turn, we are very close to the sea and the beaches of Malaga (3 km), the historic center of the city (7 km) and the A7 motorway, which allows us to get to know other cities and places in our province and in Andalusia. .
The estate is surrounded by a Mediterranean landscape represented by Mount San Antón (Landscape Protected by Law) and is bordered to the north by the Montes de Málaga Natural Park. At the same time, near the beaches, which favors the presence of sea air.
LOCATION: We are far enough from the city to relax but close enough to visit; far enough from the transport network: A7 motorway (2.5 km), ICE train station (7 km) and international airport (14 km) to be calm, but without losing much time to get there.
And all this combined with the possibility of playing sports on the farm: swimming pool, tennis, ball games, hiking, cycling or games in the garden.
We believe that this accommodation offers excellent conditions for a vacation: The peace and relaxation of the countryside. The sea and the beaches very close. 10 minutes from the center of Malaga with its restaurants and tapas bars, the Picasso route, its gardens, museums, monuments, shops (Zara, Mango, Massimo Dutti...) and nightlife. In addition, the benefits of the field, garden, tennis court and swimming pool.
HOUSES: There is hot and cold air conditioning for winter and summer into the house. The pool and the tennis court are our property but are shared by the guests of the 2 houses that we rent on the farm. We live in the main house of the farm. We have a total of 2 houses for rent in different parts of this property (73,000 meters, it is not an urbanization) very special, independent and very quiet. Each house has its own barbecue and a furnished terrace. They are completely independent, which guarantees the privacy of our tenants. The main building is located in the middle of the entire property.
TENNIS: Tennis is not an official size court. It's smaller, it's more like a space to play, whether it's tennis or a big ball,...
SWIMMING POOL: The official swimming pool season runs from April 1 to October 31. There are two pools side by side: a small pool for children (1.5 x 2m, 1m deep) and one for adults (round, 7m diameter, 2m deep).
VISIT OF 1 DAY OR LESS: We are located in the center of the Andalusian coast and you can easily visit other Andalusian regions such as Granada and the Alhambra (1:15 a.m.), Córdoba and the Mezquita-Cathedral (1:30 a.m.). .), or Seville and the Giralda (2:30). And the beautiful towns and natural spaces of Malaga, such as Ronda, Frigiliana, Casares, Nerja, El Caminito del Rey, Antequera and the prehistoric dolmens inscribed on the World Heritage List,...
ACCESS TO THE INTERIOR OF THE PROPERTY: To access or leave the property where the houses are located, there is a 300-meter unpaved and sloping road without night lighting. It is a private road within the property. Although there are families and groups who like to walk up/down the 500 meters that separate us from the bus, we recommend the use of a car. Please note that the bus does not run at night and taxis and Uber never enter a property with a rustic dirt road.

This is a great place to stay outside of Malaga while still being close. All the amenities are great, but some, like the pool, tennis court, and parking, are shared with other travellers in different units of the same complex. The host is accessible and available, and while there can be a lack of privacy at times, it remains a calm place for your group.
This is a great getaway right outside of Malaga. The owner was very friendly and helpful. If you want a nice pool, a large space and somewhere more quite, this is a great choice.
We rented both holiday homes on sight and enjoyed tennis, swimming and other children's toys provided. Beautiful surroundings plus close to the coast and city
Host was very attentive and helpful. Beautiful setting with amazing views. Even though it rained for the first 2 days we achieved everything we wanted to. Malaga is a lovely vibrant city with plenty of good restaurants and a pleasant marina.
We have just enjoyed a very special and relaxing week staying in this immaculately presented and delightful rural finca. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful ensuring that there were no problems. Although car hire is desirable and necessary to get luggage from the gate up the steep track to the finca or if wanting to travel to other destinations, if you travel light and have a reasonable level of fitness there is a very efficient half hourly bus service into Malaga.The descriptions on the website are very accurate and we were very sorry when our stay came to an end

Great place in malaga. 10 min away from the coast and still very quiet with beautiful surroundings. The place had everything we needed with an outdoor place to have break fast and dinner. Very comprehensive kitchen
Only small negative is that the furniture inside is very old fashion. It has its own charm but better be aware.
We wanted to travel around Malaga and surrounding area but did not want a city break.
Finca Matilde was near to the city but in a tranquil and beautiful area only 8km from the centre.
The property was spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
I would not hesitate to recommend as a great place to stay but you do need a car.

An absolutely lovely place to stay
My wife and I stayed for two weeks and had a lovely time. The accommodation was great and had everything we needed. The farm is positioned some way from the road and so is really nice and peaceful. The hosts were lovely and made us very welcome. Although positioned close to a bus route (which is excellent for trips into Malagasy and elsewhere) we found that having a car was essential. A super ace we would recommend. Thank you Matilda and Juan Carlos.
Nestled in the hills East of Málaga, it's quiet, the master bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equiped, plenty of hot water, excellent WiFi and fantastic hosts. Beautiful views add to the experience. We noticed that it is completely safe for children of any age. There's even a play pen, a highchair and some toys. It's a charming place in every way. Thank you, Matilde and Juan Luis, for everything!

This wonderful property is in a lovely location in the countryside and yet within easy reach of Malaga . There are several restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach. The property gets the sun for most of the day and has lovely views over the surrounding countryside.
The hosts Ramon, Juan ,Loles and Matilde are the most helpful and friendly people we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble. It was our second visit this year and we plan to return, hopefully, in the future. We feel they have become our Malaga friends.
Everything went smoothly, the communication with the owner was very polite and attentive. The pictures represent the appartment very well and the house was very clean and well equipped. The children loved the small tenis court, although not original size we had a wonderful time on it. We imagine in spring and summer enjoying the pool, the mango trees and flowers of the garden must be even more beautiful. The location was perfect for us: by car not far from the city center and beaches, still in a calm area sorounded by the mountains. We will definitely like to come back!

What a hidden gem this property is. Owners brother manages it , he speaks Spanish but can speak and understand English using the translator app. These people will treat you like your family. Giving you recommendations to go visit, to go eat . The property is on Mango/Avocado farm, the owner gave us some mangoes as well, they were delicious . The property also had some Pear, Pomegranate trees, the pool was really nice. The seating area around was really nice. If you have a car it is not far from the city or the beach. Easy drive to Granada, Sevilla from here. Would definitely stay here again.
The property has gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains while still being close to the city. The host explained prior to booking that there was an access road to navigate that puts the property off the beaten path, however, the dirt access road is full of potholes and large bumps. While I got used to it, I don’t think I would have chosen the property if I knew just how this would be. The shower water pressure and hot water were a bit problematic but this is an old house. The host was very generous to replace the mattress for us because we felt that the one that was there was too soft. Overall very nice home.
Die Anfahrt den Berg hoch zur Finca ist holprig und etwas abenteuerlich. Die Finca selbst bietet für 2 - 4 Personen ausreichend Platz, evtl. kann eine 5. Person auf einem von 2 kleinen Sofas schlafen. Die inneren Türen sind verzogen und schleifen teils auf dem Boden, lassen sich also schwer öffnen/schließen.
Wer sich von Hundegebell und Schreien von Gockeln/Hähnen in der näheren Nachbarschaft nicht stören lässt, der kann ansonsten die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit auf dem kleinen Berg und die Aussicht absolut genießen. Der Wind weht in der Höhe natürlich kräftiger als unten in Malaga. Die großzügige Terrasse ist ein Traum.

The ad warns that the access road to the house is 300 meters long, it is uphill/downhill and unpaved, since we are on an agricultural state, it is not a hotel. For this reason we recommend renting a vehicle.
When a client comes, I always ask them to let me know as soon as possible if they have any doubt, questions or something is not working well so that I can fix it quickly. If you don't ask me, I can't clear you up.
The fifth bed is under one of the single beds in the non-double bedroom. It is the same bed that you see in the photos and that you have seen in the house, but it has folded legs and is stored under one of the beds. It is a modern solution although more expensive. We never propose to sleep on a sofa.
I don't understand what you mean by saying that the interior doors are locked (all?) I can understand one of them coming off its hinges a bit. If you would have told me during your stay, this would have been fixed. When you left the house, they all closed normally, but I didn't lean on them either.
It is typical of the countryside that there are some animals in the surroundings and that they make noise. I am sorry that the noises of the animals around you have disturbed you.
You arrived in Malaga with a great cyclone of strong winds in Western Europe. It's not common here, but sometimes it happens. Logically, in the center of the city, surrounded by tall buildings and noise from vehicles, the wind is less noticeable than in the countryside.
Finally, we are very happy that you enjoyed the large terrace with views.

We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the property. After busy days in Malaga or on day trips, we loved coming back to this property for a quiet, peaceful evening. The property is very close to a bus route to town although we had a rental car which made getting to and from the property easier. If I could rank higher than 5/5 I would do so. Hosts were very nice and helpful with their recommendations for restaurants, etc. I would definitely want to stay here again if I am ever back in Malaga.

Mi pareja y yo hemos pasado una semana en la finca. Nos gustaría destacar, sobre todo, lo limpia que estaba la casa a nuestra llegada y la amable bienvenida que nos brindaron Juan Carlos y Matilde.
La finca está genial, enclavada en medio del monte, y los dueños están disponibles y atentos en todo momento.
La cercanía de la playa es otra ventaja, pudiendo hacer planes de playa y montaña sin hacer largos desplazamientos.
Repetiríamos sin dudar.

Wir haben hier letzte Woche einen tollen Urlaub erleben dürfen. Vorab, die Bilder und Angaben stimmen ! Die Wohnung ist gepflegt und sauber, WLAN tiptop (ggf. wichtig, wenn Teenager mit von der Partie sind....). Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet. Auf der großen Terrasse (>100m2), die um diesen Gebäudeteil herumgeht, so dass es immer einen Teil mit direkter Sonne gibt, gibt es Sitz und Liegemöbel. Ein Teil ist auch überdacht. Diese grosse Terrasse ist nur für diese Wohnung (die andere Wohnung hat ebenfalls eine private Terrasse). Nach Palo der nächsten Stadt mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und an den Strand sind es etwa 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, in die Innenstadt von Malaga etwa 15 Minuten. Da die Finca etwa außerhalb liegt wurden wir am Treffpunkt abgeholt und zur Finca gebracht, Service ! Matilde ist noch später extra mit uns zum Supermarkt gefahren, um uns den Weg zu zeigen. ...Extra eine WhattsApp Gruppe eröffnet, damit jemand aus der Familie jederzeit erreichbar ist. Das ist Gastfreundschaft !
Malaga hat viele reizvolle Orte, aber etwas weiter weg sind die Höhlen van Neja, ca. 45 min, die grössten, die ich je gesehen habe, mit Malereien aus der Steinzeit, Anteqera ist auch einen Ausflug wert oder Torcal eine bizarre Felsformation mit toller Aussicht in der Nähe von Anteqera.
Wir werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen.
