I am Chara, the hostess of Spyros House, mother of two lovely boys. I am not originally from Kefalonia, but love brought me to the island which I adored from the first time as if it was my birthplace. I have been spending all my summers and holidays in the island, so I know most of its corners. I will be very glad to give you all the information and the tips that you will need in order to make your stay unforgettable! Spyros House is small, cosy and sunny house with astonishing sea views, which offer total relaxation. Located in a peaceful corner of the village of Agia Effimia gives you the opportunity to explore the beautiful village and is the perfect base for exploring the island!

Agia Efimia village is a traditional fishing village located on the north-eastern coast of Kefalonia, surrounded by the mountains to the west, north and south which form the beautiful Pylaros valley. Centered around the harbour and quayside this picturesque village is an ideal base from which to explore the rest of the island. There are many small family owned sea-side tavernas, cafes and restaurants where you can try local dishes. There are excellent amenities including a post office, pharmacy, ATM, and hair salon. Shopping is covered from groceries stores, bakeries and a butcher's delicatessen to tourist stores, jewelry shops and gift shops. Relax at one of the four beautiful white pebble beaches, surrounded by turquoise waters and white rocks or watch the flotillas and pleasure boats that moor up in the bustling harbour. You can explore the old village ruins and the Roman mosaic in the village or take one of the many day trips available from the village. The property is only 8km away from famous Myrtos beach and Lake Melissani, just 12km from unique Antisamos beach and Drogarati Cave and 8km from the village and Port of Sami connecting with Italy.
