The kitchen houses an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, a dining room and a sitting room with open fire and TV. The bedrooms consist of a double and single with pull-out bed, serviced by a bathroom. To the outside is an enclosed garden with furniture and roadside parking is available. One dog is welcome however smoking is not allowed. Within 0.4 miles there is a shop and pub. 12 Castlegate is a superb escape, whatever time of year. Note: There is two steps down to the kitchen.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, under worktop fridge with freezer box, washer/dryer, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio, WiFi. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking on first come, first served basis. Private enclosed garden with furniture and barbecue. One well-behaved dog welcome, downstairs only. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.3 miles, pub 0.4 miles. Note: There are two steps down to kitchen

Town: This historic market town, with its full range of amenities and traditional shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, serves as the official gateway to the beautiful North York Moors National Park, home of the Heartbeat countryside. Enjoy a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, where Harry Potter fans can even explore some of the locations used in the filming of The Philosopher’s Stone! The Beck Isle Museum is also well worth a visit, with its unique collection of black and white photography and displays of rural life. Walkers will be spoilt for choice by the rolling hills, valleys, rivers and abundant wildlife of the North York Moors, whilst the city of York and the Heritage Coast are just half an hour’s drive away. All in all, a wonderful setting for a relaxing holiday.
