Lovely warm and cosy cottage in a fantastic location! My daughter also loved the pond in the courtyard and loved checking on the fish every morning and night, added bonus!Hosts we're also friendly and welcoming, and super easy check in. Will definitely be back!
We enjoyed a lovely 3 days at kingfisher cottage. The weather was very good so we had the benefit of being outside quite a lot. The little courtyard area is so peaceful and pretty with just the sounds of water running into a fishpond and the birdsong. Would definitely return
What an absolute gem of a property. . Spacious. Everything we needed to unwind and relax and an ideal setting for exploring beautiful North Yorkshire. Cant wait to return.
We enjoyed our stay and found it to be convenient for our day trips to the moors and neighboring areas. Very peaceful, quiet location. The cottage was comfy and spacious.
We had a great time at this warm spacious cottage. We Love the beams and the books, games from the cottage collection. We highly recommend this cottage.
We loved staying in the 2 bedroom cottage. So quiet and tranquil. Helen has been amazing, nothing was too much trouble.
We would love to come back again sometimes.
This was a beautiful location in the countryside with access to sit near the river. The space was quaint and clean. The shower had amazing water pressure and was the perfect temperature. The location had everything we needed for a family with small children. The on site laundry facilities were extremely helpful. The host was very kind and available as needed.
It was our first time staying at kingfisher cottage. It wont be our last! It had everything we needed and it was much more spacious than the photos depicted. Very peaceful, quiet and safe. Our 3 children loved playing in the courtyard andour doggo loved it too!
This is a farm property, quite in the middle of no where, but it has a lovely large courtyard, in fact the accommodation is comprised from the old animal barns. The courtyard made of old red brick provides endless joy watching the house martins and swallows whizzing about.
Its an interesting area with plenty to do.
Lovley cottage with all amenities. Great courtyard for our dogs to explore. Little out the way but we didnt mind the driving. Good hosts and communication. Would reccomend.
Our 3rd stay here this year.
We absolute love it.
Just such a relaxing tranquil place. So good to be away from all the hustle and bustle of busy city living.
Hoping to possibly make it 4 stays before the year is out if not, then definitely will be booking up for early 2024.
Thank you again for having us Helen and Richard
Really enjoyed my stay. Helen was really helpful, the cottage was lovely and warm and I had everything I needed. The little courtyard that it is in makes it quiet and private. Though its off the beaten track, its really easy to access Pickering and the beautiful village of Helmsley. A great base. Definately be back!
An absolute gem in the countryside.
Was fabulous being away from main road traffic for a few nights.
We as a family, would love to return and stay here again at some point.
Kids loved it, and we were also lucky to be allowed to go see the lambs being fed.
Helen & Richard are very warming and exceptional hosts.
Cant wait too book up and see them again
