About the host
Hosted by Emma spencer-nairn
Hamish and Emma renovated the cottage in 2022 after it had been empty for nearly 80 years. The cottage lies within the grounds of Hamish's family home which has been in the family for over 150 years. We now live in the main house with our two children.
Why they chose this property
It is a beautiful property and it's great it is being enjoyed.
What makes this property unique
Very safe, quiet and secure it is ideally located to explore Fife, the East Neuk, St Andrews, Dundee and Perth. Train stations at Cupar and Ladybank allow easy access straight into Edinburgh centre within 1 hour. Ideal for lots of walks either in woodland (Pitmedden and Tentsmuir), beaches (St Andrews, Elie, Tentsmuir) and hills (Lomonds). Lots of great biking, either road or mountain biking.
