Kea, also know as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are 4 to 5 ferry boats going to and from the island in the summer months. As there are few hotels on the island, mostly private homes are rented out. Most of these homes are made from local stone, giving Kea its unique architectural style.
