Situated where Monks Dale meets Millers Dale within a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Friars Folly sits on a hillside with the river meandering through the valley below. Walk directly from your door in stunning scenery by tumbling streams and towering limestone cliffs.

Lovely cottage, great location for walking

We really loved staying in the cottage. It was cosy, comfortable and warm, and had everything we needed. Lots of thoughtful touches too. It was a great base for walking, with access to footpaths from the doorstep, and it's a beautiful area. Thank you Vicky!

Fantastic

Friar's Folly is an amazing place to stay. It is cosy, comfortable,warm and has everything you need for a lovely holiday. The location and views from the cottage were superb. The welcome treats left by Vicky were very much appreciated. We stayed in December, it snowed overnight and it was magical. The whole family were so friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage and we will definitely return.
