Absolutely as advertised!!! Host was incredibly responsive and the location is just marvelous!!! This is a great apartment for 2 people. It had everything we needed and it is close proximity to the metro. If you want to truly experience the Latin Quarter this is a must stay. There are a ton of food choices right on the street below. The only drawback to the apartment may be the stairs as they are narrow and with heavy luggage may take an additional minute or two to navigate, but this was an afterthought to us as the apartment was just magnificent! An absolute must stay!
Chose le loft latin due to it's location. Close to the metro line 4 and RERs B and C. We had several events and this allowed us to get to all easily. Loft is on a busy street (pedestrian) but heard no noise with the windows closed.
Loved this stay! Quirky but inviting decor. Well stocked kitchen and washer. Building is on a busy street but the apartment is surprisingly quiet when the windows are closed. Location was wonderful. Lots of options for food and entertainment and sight seeing within minutes. Only opportunities for improvement: only one small hanging closet (no drawers anywhere), our clean socks got dirty just walking around inside, pullout sofa bed is uncomfortable and squeaks, sound on the TV is blown out. However we enjoyed everything else so much we still rated this 5 stars!
This property has everything, great restaurants and fast food nearby, a theatre, jazz club and several pubs/bars all within 100ft so there's a lively street scene right on our block. The property is very cozy and the loft bed comfortable, we needed extra electrical outlets up there and they were provided. We can't say enough good things about our host Nadia, she was a great host!! She provided all the info we could use, and was always available when we needed advice on shopping and getting around. There was a issue with the hot water heater and Nadia and the team quickly arranged for us to finish our stay in another property in the Marais which was a serious upgrade. We were totally taken care of and we highly recommend using Cobblestone.
Cute little apartment in a fantastic location - two minutes to the RER to the airport and metro line St.Michel, although it’s so close to most major attractions we walked everywhere. Very clean and well equipped. Host was communicative and helpful. Generally a great space with plenty of room for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Note that there is no elevator and the stairs can be difficult to navigate with luggage. The street outside is lively and bustling and the noise extends into the night. The windows do block most noise from outside but earplugs are a good idea for light sleepers. The only downside was the morning garbage and recycling collection which woke me at 6:30 in the morning every other day.
Very convenient property perfect for 2 people in Paris to enjoy the atmosphere, museums, neighborhoods and Roland Garros. Super close to many metro stations and within walking distance of the louvre, musée d’Orsay, notre dame, shakespeare & co and more!! Wide variety of cafes and restaurants for a great coffee, snack, drink or dinner. Vibrant nightlife outside the front window may make sleeping in the summer with the windows open difficult but plenty of fans and other sources of ventilation. When windows are closed in front the apartment is practically sound proof. The check in process was very easy and Nadia was quite wonderful in helping us with information and recommendations. Stairs to apartment are narrow and steep and primary bedroom is a loft. We welcomed the exercise but it may not be for everyone. Kitchen equipped with all needed accessories including coffee, a bottle of wine and chocolate!! Visit included two tickets for a river cruise on the Seine which was a nice surprise.
Location was phenomenal, near several forms of transportation, and plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and night life, though the immediate area is geared towards tourists. Although small, it was exactly what we needed for a week’s stay, and was well stocked. The kitchen was modern and updated, and had everything we needed to cook, just be advised there isn’t an oven. The listing mentioned the area was “lively”, which is a bit of an understatement. Several bars within earshot were quite loud well into the night - around 2am on weekdays, and 4am weekends, so it was difficult to sleep even with earplugs. Other than the noise, the stay was wonderful, and the host was communicative.
