Lovely Stay
A last minute autumn break during the pandemic with another family of three. House is well equipped and nicely furnished. Great location. We were able to do everything on foot including Southwest Coastal Path walks, caves, bowling, mini-golf, restaurants and even grocery shopping so we didn’t need to use our car. Leeann was easy to reach before our stay and during as well, though we had no issues with the house. Hot tub was a nice bonus.

Beautiful house for a family Christmas!
Number nine is beautiful, there is ample room for everyone to spread out and the house meets many different needs. The bedding and beds are soft and welcoming, the decor is simple but relaxing. It was particularly lovely that as soon as you walk in the front door you could see the Christmas tree! We had sent many messages to leeann in the run up to Christmas and our stay and anything we asked was never a problem, leeann was always polite and kind and did all she could to help. We would not hesitate to come and stay again! Thank you! Xx

We love Torquay - AKA Torbaydos! We moved to the area for Number Nine as a renovation project. We both love the outdoors and living by the sea. Our favorite day out is walking, going on a boat or paddleboarding to all the lovely coves and beaches with a nice meal thrown in! We know the area well and can give great advice making the perfect holiday for you.

Why they chose this property

We bought this guest house to renovate as its is a beautiful building with lots of character and history. The house has appeared on Channel 4 the Hotel Inspector. We really wanted to make a large holiday home that friends and family can enjoy as we have a large family ourselves and have found it hard to get places to fit us all in.

What makes this property unique

A beautiful period home set over four floors, tucked in a peaceful location however close proximity to town/ harbor/ marina. The grand sweeping stair case and all the original coving makes you feel like you are Lord and Lady of the Manor!
