Welcome to Apt Cristal des Glaces, a warm haven under the roofs, located just next to the magnificent Gaillands lake, a few minutes from Chamonix. Ideal for couples or families, it offers a mansard room for children and a splendid view of the mountains. Enjoy on-site trails, zip lines, Nordic skiing and beginner climbing wall! Linen and parking included for a fully comfortable alpine stay.

Security Deposit

As a property management company, and not private hosts, this is part of our standard procedure.

The deposit amount appears during the Airbnb booking before you confirm your reservation.



Who We Are

We are Care Concierge, a professional property management company overseeing more than 200 accommodations in Chamonix, Les Houches and Sallanches.

We are not private Airbnb hosts, but a local team available to assist you throughout your stay.

Each property includes starter essentials (toiletries, soap, toilet paper, cleaning products) for the first 1-2 days.

Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies during their stay.

For fireplaces or washing machines, please purchase your own wood, detergent, or capsules.

WATER HEATER PLEASE READ

In France, water heaters (boilers) work differently from those in many other countries. Hot water is stored in a tank and can be depleted if used excessively. It takes between 1 and 3 hours for the tank to refill and reheat again, depending on its size.



We kindly ask you to avoid long showers or baths, unless you are the last person to use the bathroom and can wait until morning to refill it.

This is a normal part of life in France, so we thank you for your understanding and consideration.



ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

France uses a limited electrical system, and if too many appliances (such as a hairdryer and a microwave) are used at the same time, the circuit breaker may trip. If this happens, you will need to manually reset it at the electrical panel.



Please avoid overusing multiple devices simultaneously this system is designed to reduce energy consumption and is very common in French households. We ask you to use only what you need.

Why are the keys not at the property

Having to drive a 10km round trip to Les Houches to pick up and drop the keys for a property which is is in Chamonix is ridiculous. Please do let me know where I can send the invoice for my time and fuel for having to pick up and drop off the keys. Also no towels on arrival they came 4 hours later. Rubbish still in the bin in the kitchen. Also why are there 10 keys on the key ring when you only need three.

Dear Wade, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the key collection process felt inconvenient. Unfortunately, due to local building rules (known in France as "syndics"), short-term rentals are allowed in the building but key boxes are strictly prohibited on-site. This policy is beyond our control and applies to all residents, not just our guests. For this reason, keys must be collected from our office, just 6 minutes (5 km) from the property, and we clearly indicate this in all listings where it applies. That said, we understand it may have been unexpected, and to make up for the inconvenience, we’re happy to offer €5.50 for your time and fuel. Please email your details to contact@careconcierge.fr. Regarding the towels, we apologize sincerely. During low season, we sometimes adjust supply logistics based on occupancy, but we’re glad our team was able to deliver towels quickly upon request. We always aim to be transparent and responsive. Your feedback helps us continue improving the guest experience, and we hope to welcome you again under better circumstances.
