Fantastic location and very comfortable too

We had a lovely time staying in Craster, the location was incredible! We found the house comfortable and well laid out. It felt fresh and bright, well equipped and we thought the beds and linen were a nice quality for for a holiday let.

Really enjoyable stay. We will be back!

The location was fantastic. Great views and walking distance to pub&#47restaurant which we would definitely recommend. The house itself was just perfect for us, 6 adults and a baby. Very well equipped and the comfiest beds ever. The weather was awful but there’s so much room in the house and there was lots of games in the cupboards that it really didn’t matter. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Harbour House was situated in a beautiful location right next to a lovely harbour and the famous Kip

Perfect for families and walkers as there is the fabulous Dunstanburgh Castle near by. Surrounded by very good restaurants in the nearby villages. The house itself was roomy for all 6 of us with our well behaved dog. The instructions to get in to the property were easy to understand. We especially loved playing the board games (which were left in the house for us to use), whilst sitting over looking the harbour in the private patio area. Thank you so much to the hosts, it was a privilege to stay in your beautiful home, looking forward to returning in the near future!

Weekend stay

fabulous location, great space, ample room for the 6 of us the house could do with a little TLC and modernising - it still has the feel of a B&B upstairs and felt a little damp in places (there was a huge birds nest in the front guttering that wouldnt help). the info book is a little out of date and we could have been advised about the works going on in the street and next door - the garden space needs a good tidy up to be used

Excellent!

This is our first occasion to use Finest Retreats and it will not be our last. The accommodation in Craster Northumbria was excellent in all respects, especially the large deck located at the front house which was overlooking the harbour was heaven sent for our grandchildren. As we have visited Craster before usually twice a year, we will inevitably now use this provider as our go to company. The house came up to our expectations in regard of facilities, space, rooms and parking, we could not find fault. Thank you. {Redacted], Fife.

Lovely home-from-home cottage in small village with amazing views.

The village location was perfect. The cottage is right in the heart of the small village overlooking the harbour. We enjoyed the convenience of the private parking and the on your doorstep scenery and vistas. It was great that the pub was a 2 minute walk away in one direction and in the other Dunstanburgh Castle was less than 2 miles away on a lovely coastal walk across fields with views of the castle and cliffs all the way. The picturesque harbour across the road was visible from the main bedrooms and the famous smokehouse of craster was opposite the pub. We loved the location. The inside of the house was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was a shame that the garden wasn't suitable for the children to play in. The back patio had bits of wood lying about and extremely thorny bushes and the front garden is elevated with a drop to the harbour side and not enclosed enough.
