We had our lovely three weeks vacation at la Cheta. It is very peaceful and safe, located at the end of the village, only fields around and a beehive in the bush. There is a bit of a distant road sound at times, as we kept the windows open. Good air circulation and sun sheds, so it was pleasant during the day with 37 degrees. Very few mosquitoes (there are nets in some windows, but we used a vaporizer at night with the windows open).Clean and nicely arranged house. Accurate photos and description. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), working bathroom (a bit tight toilet seat for a taller person), super nice terrace that we used a lot.The host lives nearby. She is very friendly and helpful. Speaks Italian and English.Spacious parking, enough for two cars. Easy access. The host gave exact driving directions.You need a car to move around.Supermarkets (Eurospin, Conad, Coop) are 15 min down the road. Al Casone pizzeria is traditional, great taste and good price. Nicola pizzeria offers very special large size pizzas.Private doctor in Camaiore (Campus Major, European level prices), plus the host can give more directions.Free sandy beach about 40 min by car, south of Camaoire (via Kennedy). A lot of space, safe and clean.Plenty of sightseeing (Lucca, Pisa) and hiking opportunities (a good start is Sant'Anna with a few circular trails).

Overall good. A little bit more utensils in the kitchen would be helpful. The pillows were too hard in my opinion.
