Relax in this calm self-contained annexe on the edge of a pretty market town where King Alfred The Great was born. Markets twice a week. Historic museum. peaceful country walks, good old-fashioned cosy English pubs, and thatched cottaged villages close by.

Near the Ridgeway over the Berkshire Downs and along The White Horse Hill. Ideal for walkers. Wantage Market Town 10 mins walk away.

Didcot Railway station is 20 mins away. Pick-up by car may be possible, just ask.


The sitting room, replete with up-cycled furnishings is peaceful and charming. There is a kitchen with a cooker, fridge, and washing machine. A stair lift, if needed, leads to a bathroom/toilet and a comfortable bedroom, double bed, coordinated fittings and built-in wardrobes.

Our hi-speed 900 Mbyte internet access will keep you connected to family and friends and our smart internet TV will give you access to Netflix, Amazon, I-Player and all tv stations.

Total privacy. Your own front door, entrance, and paved garden. Parking for your car on the drive and coded key entry. Arrive any time after 10.00 am and up to 10.00 pm.

Smoking is allowed in the garden. No pets, despite the fact we love them.

Very comfortable accommodation
The Annexe was ideal for us. Beautifully laid-out, comfortable rooms and walking access to Wantage (about 20minutes). Highly recommended.
