What a wonderful holiday we had at Salt Pot cottage - our children said it was the best one yet! Sharon is an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay - the welcome hamper for both children and dog were very well received! The cottage is clean, comfortable and cosy - beautifully located with walks from the door, and so much to explore in the surrounding area. We will return!

Had a lovely relaxing stay at Salt Pot Cottage, Sharon and Matthew were great hosts, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The views from the cottage are amazing and it is so peaceful there. Skipton is just a 10min drive away and has a wonderful market, we ate at the Bean Loved cafe which I can highly recommend. We're also recommending the cottage to all our friends and family.!

Staying at Saltpot is always a pleasure - the hospitality of Sharon and Matt is second to none.

Staying at Saltpot is always a pleasure - the hospitality of Sharon and Matt is second to none. Lots of cottages say that they are dog friendly but that normally just means they can stay without anything added to welcome them BUT at Saltpot this is definitely not the case - dogs have a little welcome pack with lots of little bits and pieces - like towels/dog bowls etc., and thats without the wonderful welcome baskets for us pet owners - We love it and will definitely be back. Thank you Sharon, Matt and Bella :-)

Where do I start! When we opened the door the cottage smelt lovely. The bed was comfortable and the shower amazing. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want Sharon was very welcoming and whilst not in your face was around if you needed anything and gave us good advice about routes to take while exploring YorkshireWe both agreed it was one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it
