Our home would be the perfect place for you and your family to explore this beautiful Island, Chesil Beach and the amazing Jurassic Coast. Whether you want to relax by the sea, sail, paddle board, dive, climbing, fishing, bird watching, walking, biking or simply want to explore this beautiful part of Dorset, this is the perfect base. Just a couple of minutes from Portland Museum and Rufus Castle giving you access to stunning views of the coast and a 45 minute coastal walk to Portland Bill.

The space
Lovely modern home hosting three double bedrooms two with king size beds and the third as twin beds. The house is laid out over two floors with the bedrooms and bathroom situated on the 1st floor. The bathroom has a separate shower enclosure. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, oven, gas hob, extractor hood, dish washer, washing machine, separate tumble dryer and all the kitchen essentials.

As well as a lounge/diner there's a lovely additional TV lounge/snug offering the space to unwind or socialise as you wish.

Outside you will find an enclosed gravelled courtyard garden with seating area perfect for breakfast outside or catching a bit of sunshine.

Things to note
In consideration of all of our guests smoking is not permitted in the house or gardens.
Well behaved pets are welcome in the house but not in the bedrooms or on furniture please
We really want your stay to be fabulous and understand this may well involve family and friends enjoying gathering together. Our neighbours are important to us too so we ask that you respect their right to peace and quiet in the evenings by being aware of your noise levels. Parties are not allowed.
Please leave the house clean and tidy as you find it and place rubbish bags in the wheelie bins in the parking space.
We understand accidents happen but we would ask you let us know so we can replace it for other guests.

This is our second stay at this home and it was just as lovely. The location next to church Ope beach is wonderful; Lisa is an excellent host; and the house is homely, stylish and well-equipped. We loved it!

Just a short stay over but the perfect house for us all. With 6 of us in total it was lovely to have the 2 downstairs rooms. Very well equipped and a lovely welcome gift on arrival. Perfect from start to finish

Fantastic and helpful comms for arriving and departing. The whole cottage was beautifully set out, modern and spotless. There was bubbly in the fridge to welcome us and everything we could possibly need. There is a path down to the beach just across the road and ample secure parking too. We had a lovely short break and would recommend the cottage to anyone!

Perfection!

We stayed here with family to catch up with relatives who live on the Isle of Portland. The house is beautifully presented - spotlessly clean and has everything you need. We were expected a nice place to stay from the photos but it was even better than we thought. The location is excellent - short walk to shops, pubs and beach. lovely walk to the Bill from the house too. We would not hesitate to recommend this house. Thank you for letting us stay

Great stay in Portland/Weymouth with Lisa

We enjoyed our time in the very great furnished house of Lisa. It is very tastefully decorated. Especially the bathroom has stood out. Everything is very well maintained and in the best condition. The house is brilliantly located, only 5 minutes from the beach. You can make beautiful walks along the coast. Lisa always answered very quickly and even got us electrical adapters for our European cell phones. All in all a very great stay. We will be happy to come back again.

Wonderful Weekend Stay - Highly Recommend!

We recently spent a delightful weekend at Lisa's place, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Lisa, was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that our stay was as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The property was exactly as described—very spacious and immaculately presented. It comfortably accommodated my wife and I, and our three children (aged 13, 11, and 5). The space was thoughtfully arranged and beautifully decorated, providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Everything we could possibly want was provided. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms were cozy, and the living areas were perfect for family time, with sky TV so we didn't miss any of the Olympics! Overall, it was such a lovely place to stay, and we had a truly memorable time. Thank you, Lisa, for being such a wonderful host and making our weekend getaway so enjoyable. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect holiday experience!
