Seven House - Sweet Dreams in Florence

Seven House is a very nice apartment in the heart of Florence, a few meters from the lively Piazza della Passera and a few steps from the main attractions of the historic centre. The apartment is located on the third and top floor of an old building, the stairs are demanding and we therefore advise you not to bring heavy luggage, but the location is unique for visiting the city. The apartment has a double bedroom, a nice living room with sofa bed, a kitchen equipped with microwave oven, fridge, stove, washing machine and a private bathroom. There is air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet.

Very charming and authentic local home. Although it needs a bit of TLC, I did appreciate how clean and safe I felt within the home. For most of the stay, the host was fairly communicative which I greatly appreciate. My only "complaint" would be that I wish I knew the bathroom was a small space where the toilet and shower is shared. Besides that, I enjoyed the home for my short stay.

The property is in a very convenient and nice location for restaurants and visits to popular sights. The air conditioner smelled like cigarette smoke, so that was the main downside to the apartment. Also, the stairs are very steep, so people with heavy luggage or difficulty climbing stairs might want to avoid this place.

63 steps to a great vacation apartment!

My daughter and I enjoyed Seven House for 5 nights. Its a cozy space situationed conveniently a few blocks from a bridge, crossing the Arno river. Its a great (and quiet) location to all the tour sites and for farther locations, if you dont want to walk 25 minutes, we figured out the bus system easily enough. As it was stated in the description, this lovely apt is on the 3rd floor. No lift/elevator. 63 stone steps to the third floor.We took up our big bags one at a time. We'd briefly be panting each time we returned up to the apartment from an outing, empty handed. If your willing to heft your luggage or dont have more than a back pack, your effort will be paid off by staying in a comfortable space and with a quiet (no squeaks) bed with a thick foam mattress...queen size bed. Its not a king, as the listing stated, at least not by American standards. We didnt use the kitchen, short of wine glasses and had to purchase our own sponge and paper towels. All in all, a lovely experience at Seven House.
