Brand new property completed in June 2017 and rented as a holiday let.Eco Heating with a air to water heat pump to heat the hot water and both floors of underfloor heating. Wood burner in the open plan living area. This is an upside down house with the main living space on the second floor giving an airy and bright space to live and work in. Our home is built with extra insulation, an eco heating system, and water reducing measures, and includes facilities to recycle waste to help us live and holiday in a sustainable way. About the host
Hosted by Kristy
We moved to West Wales from Canada and England and have spent 20 plus years living here and raising our family. We love the rural green valleys and friendly community and unique Welsh culture.
Why they chose this property
Our house is in a quiet hamlet in ‘the valley of longing (hiraeth). It looks out at the green fields and trees which change strikingly with the seasons. Nearby public rights of way allow us to walk through the countryside and enjoy the abundance of birdsong and sounds of the woodpeckers and red kites. We’re also only 25 min away from some of the famous Cardigan Bay beaches.
What makes this property unique
Our house is a warm and comfortable newly built home from home. We’ve handcrafted much of the furniture.
