Experience something different at this quirky yet beautiful suite at Florence House. Built 200 years ago this suite incorporates a cabin-like extension, is lined with sash windows that overlook our courtyard garden and the magnificent church next door.

Located 3 mins to the beach by foot and within a charming terrace of pastel coloured properties, Florence House stands in a prominent position within the town square and puts all that Herne Bay has to offer on your door step.

The Space

This apartment has been lovingly restored to retain as many of its romantic original features as possible and combining the magnificent high ceilings and large windows creates a beautiful light and airy space.

During the day, large sash windows offer flooding light in the space whilst in the evening, a charming chandelier illuminates the space, bringing attention to the oak beams of the vaulted ceiling.

At nightfall, the velvet button backed bed with 1000 pocket sprung medium support mattress, fluffy pillows and crisp professionally laundered linen, will ensure you have a comfortable nights sleep.

The next morning will be heavenly too - Outside the bedroom window we have nesting birds that greet you with bird song and jasmine that wafts through the air. It's easy to forget you're actually in the centre of town as this apartment is very peaceful.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing breakfast and cooking your evening meals alike, or later in the evening pouring a glass of wine ready to lay back on the bed to watch the latest movies and tv shows on Netflix, Amazon Prime & Disney Plus which come ready installed on the Smart TV.

After a day at the beach the thermostatic shower provides a powerful shower that is as practical with sandy toes as it is relaxing after a long day. It really is the perfect 'hidey-hole' for your next beach getaway.

Ideal for 2 people. Beach and pier closeby. Lots of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Park up in William St with a permit that Oliver can arrange so that there's no need to worry about navigating the one way streets of Herne Bay to get to the various venues. Morrissons and Aldi are virtually on your door step.

From the moment I recieved confirmation that the studio flat was availble for my visit to Herne Bay, communication was proffesional and focused on the customer. Hi I’m Oliver and my family and I have been running holiday lets for around 20 years in both England and Spain. I currently offer several beautiful apartments in Herne Bay, right in the centre of the hustle and bustle and I am working on a new addition that we hope to open very soon!

I am a designer by profession however outside of this I am a keen musician; I sing and play guitar and ukulele and enjoy cooking and photography!

My airbnbs are designed to offer the ideal relaxing getaway and I am always available to offer assistance or advice in anyway to make your stay that little more special.

Why they chose this property

This property makes up part of the beautiful Florence House on William St, Herne Bay, a building that captured our hearts with it's high ceilings, large windows and historic charm. We've been lovingly restoring it over our ownership for 10 years now, and are proud to be able to offer some of it to visitors to the area who want to share its comfort, beauty and unbeatable location in the centre of town!

What makes this property unique

This property is directly opposite Herne Bay's Wimereux Square - where farmers markets and events such as jazz concerts often take place. Also on the Square is the Heron's leisure centre, which includes a swimming pool and gym as well as Herne Bay's cinema. William St, where this property is located leads directly to the beach too - and is only a 3 minute walk, or 4 minutes to be in the sea! Despite being right in the centre of the town, it is not noisy, and from the windows most of the time all you'll hear are the birds singing. It really is a sanctuary amongst the hustle and bustle. If you want the convenience of everything being on your doorstep, and also value quietness - and the opportunity to relax you really can't go wrong with picking this property.
