Blockley is our favorite little village to visit in England, you can’t go wrong and this place was perfect. This wasn’t our first stay in Blockley and it likely won’t be the last.
Went to have a nice weekend with old university friends. Was the perfect location, lovely village, really friendly pub, and great local café. House was lovely. Clean, well decorated and all the amenities we could want. Highly recommended for a weekend away.
The property was perfect. Everything was clean and exactly as described in the listing.
There is a cafe and a co-op that are a few hundred yards away, so that is wonderfully convenient. There are also 2 pubs in the village.
This was a perfect place to stay.
Beautifully renovated and very comfortable house. There was an extra room on the top floor with enough space for a blow up mattress. Thank you for the complimentary milk, bread and butter - it would be helpful to have more details on the listing as to what is provided eg towels provided, and what we need to bring eg tea towels. House is right next to church and wonderful walks nearby
We had a fantastic few days in this perfect cottage located in a very cute village. The communication with the owner was spot on.
We had everything we needed when we arrived including the essential toiletries and basic food including bread and milk/butter. The rooms were spacious, and everywhere was spotless.
The real log burning fire added to the coziness of the cottage - ideal with a glass of red in the evening! The local store is 1 minute away with a fantastic cafe, and the Great Western pub is spot on and only 5/10 mins walk maximum.
Overall this provided us with the ideal way to start the new year and all the family agreed we would definitely use this cottage again!
