About the host
Hosted by Tricia Locke
We hope you enjoy Loch Lomond as much as we have over the last 30 years. We have lived in California for the majority of my life traveling to Scotland almost every year for the last 20. We have now returned to Scotland to relax and enjoy the outdoor life and beauty of the country! From hiking to traveling and working on our croft cottage, we are kept busy.
The best part of hosting is being able to share ideas with visitors.
We've got a great list of places to visit, hikes to take on, and where to enjoy a wonderful meal on the evenings you don't want to cook!
We welcome your questions and if you need help with ideas, please let us know.

Why they chose this property
The every changing scenery is what brought us to this special spot of Loch Lomond. In one day you can see the weather changing while gazing across the Loch or walking up the road. From smooth clear water to wildflowers and wildlife - we have a lot to offer.
There are plenty of birds to watch and Pine Martens up near the ranger station or sheep grazing on the hills.
It's a great spot for outdoor activities but also close enough for trips to Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, and Perth.

What makes this property unique
Our property is unique since it offers water sports (wild swimming, kayaking) and hiking all within our back yard! We are sitting just steps away from Loch Lomond and then behind us sits Ben Lomond, the most southerly munro in Scotland.
