About this property
Cozy Cabin with Stunning Loch Lomond Views
About this space
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful setting with wonderful views of Loch Lomond and the surrounding hills.
Enjoy water sports on Loch Lomond or take a hike up Ben Lomond or a walk along the West Highland Way! A great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life where you can unwind and relax but also close enough for day trips to Glasgow and Stirling.
The space
We offer a two bedroom two bath accommodation with open concept kitchen, living and dining area. Views of Loch Lomond are right outside the front patio.
The master bedroom is en suite with large soaking tub/shower combination. The second bathroom has a step in shower. There are twin beds in the smaller bedroom with a king bed in the master. Each bedroom has a large closet and shelves for clothing. There are vanity mirrors with lights available and USB plugs in the lighting fixtures in each of the bedside lamps.
We have recently installed an air-conditioning/ heating unit to accommodate all sorts of climatic weather in the warm summer months and cool winters.
We have a DVD player available with a selection of movies. There is also a library of books and game boards.
The front patio has a lovely 4-seater outdoor dining table for those al fresco evenings on the deck watching the water and the evening sun setting.
Guest access
You will have access to everything inside the lodge including the items located in the cabinets. There is no access to the shed located at the back of the chalet.
Other things to note
The nearest shop is a well-stocked Spar located in Drymen, 20 minutes away. There is also an outstanding butcher in the village and a wee shop next to The Oak Tree Inn in Balmaha for basics. We suggest ordering delivery of your food using Sainsbury, Tesco, or ASDA.
The Rowardennan Hotel which is next door to the park is open from April to October. The rest of the restaurants - The Oak Tree Inn, The Clachan, The Drymen Inn, The Winnock Hotel, are open year round.

About the host
Hosted by Tricia Locke

We hope you enjoy Loch Lomond as much as we have over the last 30 years. We have been living in California for the majority of my life traveling to Scotland almost every year for the last 20. We have now returned to Scotland to relax and enjoy the outdoor life and beauty of the country! From hiking to traveling and working on our croft cottage, we are kept busy.
The best part of hosting is being able to share ideas with visitors.
We've got a great list of places to visit, hikes to take on, and where to enjoy a wonderful meal on the evenings you don't want to cook!
Why they chose this property
The every changing scenery is what brought us to this special spot on Loch Lomond. Even in one day you can see changings while gazing across the Loch or walking up the road. From smooth water to wildflowers and wildlife (we have plenty of birds to watch and Pine Martens up near the ranger station or sheep grazing on the hills. It's a great spot for outdoor activities but also close enough for trips to Stirling, Glasgow, Edinbrugh, Falkirk, and Perth, to name a few favorite spots.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique since it offers water sports and hiking all within our back yard! We are sitting just steps away from Loch Lomond and then behind us sits Ben Lomond, the most southerly munro in Scotland.
