You enter the property into the open plan living area, which is a perfect place to kick back and relax in after a day scouting the area. The kitchen/dining area has everything you would need, and is well presented and fully equipped with plenty of space for food preparation, along with a dining table which seats four people giving a great area to have a family meal, should you not wish to dine at the many superb eateries close by. There are two bedrooms; the master bedroom offers a plush kingsize bed with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite facilities, the second with twins. Both rooms have luxury linen guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep. The bathroom presents a shower cubicle, heated towel rail, sink and toilet. Outside you have a gorgeous wrap around decking, which offers a great seating area with fantastic views of the spectacular countryside that surrounds the lodge, giving you a great place to sit out and relax in the summer months whilst enjoying a glass of fizz. Pheasant Lodge truly is a stunning holiday home and guests are guaranteed perfection throughout.
Helmsley is the closest large town, just 4 miles down the road, meaning you have quick access to the local pubs, cafés, restaurants, shops and Helmsley Brewery. Wombleton, only 1 mile away also has a gorgeous little inn within walking distance which serves great Yorkshire ales and mouth-watering food. It also has a little beer garden. Harome, also 1 mile in the opposite direction boasts two fabulous restaurants, one of which has a Michelin star. You have the stunning North York Moors National Park on your doorstep which is full of bike trails and fantastic, scenic walks, including the very popular Rievaulx Abbey. Other nearby towns include Malton, Pickering, Thirsk and York. If you fancied a day at the beach, the gorgeous east coast is approximately a 50-minute drive so, why not pack your bucket and spade.
